Although extremely hot...it was a beautiful wedding outside at Westbury Manor. The outside reception could have been better if there were enough seats for everyone. Lots of people ended up standing around the perimeter which I'm sure was fine. They ran out of sangria and plates at one point, but the food was delicious and some of the staff were very friendly.
Once inside the fun really began. Great DJ, beautiful bride and groom, and a choice of six entrees for dinner...the fillet was yummy but certainly not cooked to medium as asked. It was so big though that eating around the edges was plenty.
Later, the dessert cart/table rolled out...YUM! Then the wedding cake....so pretty and yummy.
So even though things weren't exactly perfect, the entire day definitely was just that...perfect. Westbury Manor is a gorgeous facility and it made for a wonderful event.
One more thing I feel the need to mention is that the man who was in charge of the event (bald guy) needs to lay off a bit....seriously....he barely let us get a picture of them cutting the cake before he grabbed the knife from them and proceeded to do it himself; it was very awkward. He was running around frantic most of the day/night. Relax dune. You are obvious, and it's awkward.
ALL IN ALL....it was wonderful place for a wedding and reception. We had a blast, and I do believe the bride and groom were 100% happy, and isn't that really all that matters on their wedding day?
