We have stayed at Ashokan Dreams twice in 2 of their suites. Both were wonderful, cozy, and well decorated. The view of Ashokan Resevoir is stunning, we saw double rainbows twice in one day. The breakfasts provided by owner Anne Marie are truly delicious and hearty. They are brought to your room and packaged sweetly in a basket with everything your need to enjoy breakfast in your pajamas. We would recommend this to anyone who is traveling to the Catskills region.

My wife and I eloped in NYC and ran away to the mountains and stayed at Ashokan Dreams for our short but perfect honeymoon. The view was absolutely breathtaking, the air was fresh, and Anne Marie was a wonderful host. Upon check in she informed us of the surrounding area, what we could do and where to eat. She was extremely helpful and let us do our thing. Everything was smooth and relaxing.
The surrounding area is quaint, with the town of Woodstock just north of the B&B. There were several excellent restaurants and a healthy gallery scene in town. This place is perfect for a quiet getaway. We will defiantly be coming back and have already ranted about it to our friends and co-workers.

Many Thanks, Joel & Roxy

The setting is so beautiful, and Anne Marie was gracious and helpful. My husband hates the usual B & B dining room breakfast with obligatory conversing with strangers. Here, there is no dining room. Rather, Anne Marie delivers a carafe of coffee and a basket of breakfast items to the suite. The food is kept warm with a ceramic trivet, and both days the breakfast was delicious. Also, on the day we left no one was checking in, and Anne Marie encouraged us to take our time in getting ready to go, which was a thoughtful touch.

We'll be back.
