“Looks like a warehouse for openers”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

Like to stand on the upper floors when they heave perceptibly up and down? Numerous reports public and by word of mouth of security issues with internecene gang activity, degenerates and other problems. Go to the AMC Theater there and find the sound levels sometimes unbearable. Volume goes up several decibels when transitioning from the previewes to the main feature. were this a factory, OSHA would shut it down. Parking is often difficult even with a Handicap Permit, then again some persons seen exiting vehicles look hardly handicapped....must have a buddy with an Rx pad.

“Low end mall”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

This mall has gone downhill the past couple years. Cheap management seems to have driven out all the top line stores and replaced them with cheap generic low end clothing stores. Not a single intetersting kiosk thst doesn't just sell junk.

It is large enough but not a good, quality place to shop unless you are looking for low end merchandise.

Even worse, the place is run down. Carpeting is filthy, floors need cleaning, facades need paint jobs, no decent seating. Appatently managment is milking this place and not spending enough on maintenace and repair. It's run like some cheap Delancey Street flea market instead of a quality mall. Save your time and shop elsewhere.

“Way too big”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2012

I hate this mall. Seriously. I used to be a total mall chick and when I was a teenager this place was great. With a little one in tow and multiple injuries this place is like a punishment. Way too big and half full of stores that are useless. HOWEVER this is one of the only malls that has certain stores and these stores have actually good selections - Disney, Gymboree, Children's Place, Crazy 8, P.S., 77kids (soon to change to another division of American Eagle) - are you following? The kids stores are great and some of them, these are the only ones around. Kirkland's on the first floor is ok, sometimes has nice stuff but it's usually super annoying to be in there. Maybe I've gotten cranky as I've gotten older but I hate walking 4 levels of half useless stuff and getting lost because the directory is usually wrong and outdated.

Not my favorite mall but on the strength of stores that only exist there it gets 3 stars. But I stand by that it's super frustrating and way too big for no good reason.

“Mall in a factory building”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

The Palisades Center is an assemblage of large and small stores, restaurants, movie theaters including a Cinemax, and other facilities all stuffed into a large factory like building. It has very little charm featuring an industrial ambiance - but then it is basically a place to buy things, not to educate or recreate. Shopping is convenient, especially in bad weather when you are protected from the environment. Parking is equally convenient except during the post Thanksgiving shopping season. It is a favorite hangout for local teen agers who roam the cavernous interior. OK say the store owners as long as they spend money. Go to the Palisades Mall to shop, not to enjoy. It ain't no Garden of Paradise.

“Great indoor shopping and entertainment.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

This is a great mall to shop, eat or go to the movies. We go there at least once a week for a dinner and a movie on our date night.
The parking is easy on weekdays however weekends or holidays it can be bad. Overall it is a good place to take refuge from the elements summer or winter.
Maintenance has not been good in the past however they are making a good effort to keep it in shape.
It has quite a variety of food establishments and good shopping is good.
