Joan and Vern were incredible hosts during our 2 night stay at Pipi Dune. Friendly and welcoming, you feel right at home, and they go out of their way to help you organise any activities or sight seeing trips. Their local knowledge ensures you are aware of the best places to go and you'll get the most out of your time in the Coromandel. The accomodation is amazing - clean, modern yet homely, spacious, and the bed was so comfortable I slept better than I do at home. I would definitely recommend you stay at Pipi Dune, and I can't wait for a chance to go back.

We spent 2 nights at Pipi Dune whilst exploring the Coromandel region. Joan and Vern were excellent hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is well fitted out, excellently furnished to a high standard with everything you need and close to the beach. The breakfasts were very delicious and there was a good selection from which to chose. We certainly enjoyed our time at Pipi Dune and would thoroughly recommend that if you are contemplating staying in the Coromandel area that you give real consideration to staying at Pipi Dune B&B - you'll be well looked after.

We spent three nights with Joan and Vern, the lovely owners of this exceptionally charming and cozy Bed & Breakfast (and what a delicious breakfast it was!), a pair of hosts one could only wish for, welcoming, warm-hearted, knowledgable and more than willing to share their knowledge and one or two secrets about the peninsula with their guests. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 2 nights on 10 and 11 Sept and Joan and Vern, our hosts, looked after us very well. The breakfast was divine and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay and highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay at Pipi Dune and found the hosts very friendly and welcoming but at the same time respectful of our privacy. It was lovely to have the downstairs living area to ourselves although I would imagine that there would be other guests to share that space with during the warmer months. This purpose built B&B is like a small boutique hotel with a more personal feel. It is immaculately clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are small and we needed to put our medium size suit cases on top of each other-reminded us of the small rooms you find in the B&Bs of the UK! It was just a minor inconvenience, and could be alleviated by putting a suitcase rack or similar in the wardrobe? Perhaps a small chest of drawers in the wardrobe so the suitcase could sit on top. We've done that in our guest room at home and protected the paintwork by glueing a sheet of vinyl to the inside of wardrobe. Less scratches now to walls of bedroom as guests have more space. Just a minor problem really considering that everything else was so lovely The breakfasts at Pipi Dune were lovely - we especially enjoyed the fluffy egg omelette. We also liked the laundry facilities (including clothes dryer) which was offered at no extra cost-something we haven't encountered at other places and that added to it feeling like a home away from home. We'll recommend Pipi Dune to our friends in Australia!
