Great place to stop by for the kangaroos, koala and the wilderness. The area surrounding the visitor center is beautiful and peaceful, lovely place for a stroll. The walks are not so easy to identify and follow, you have to identify them with the plant symbols.

If you want to enjoy an unspoilt Ozzy experience then go to the National Park. We went 3 times on our recent visit from UK and loved it. We went early one morning to see the kangaroos up and about and it was amazing. The chocolate drops tearoom does the best milkshakes and muffins!!!

Great spot to escape from the city for the day, take a picnic and enjoy the serene landscape with Koalas, Kangaroos and a variety of bird species. Walk trails for all ages and fitness levels where you will find beautiful wild flowers.

Okay, so I have lived a number of years in Yanchep and the National Park is a regular stomping ground. Great place for picnics with gas barbecue facilities. A large selection of graded walking trails. See nature up close. Wildlife koala sanctuary. Golf course (nine holes), guided cave tours, a local pub, restaurant and hotel, as well as tourist shop and the Chocolate Drops cafe.

We are visiting friends from North of Perth, they knew this was one of the places we'd like to see as we hadn't encountered koalas yet in our two months in Australia. What a large park this is. There are trails available that can take over five hours to complete. The Caves are very popular and at an extra fee that is an option. We spent quite awhile searching trees for the koalas and did find about Half dozen, mostly sleeping. The birds are beautiful and our walk around part of the lake was gorgeous. It was 34.5 and no Kangaroos were to be found. The ticket is good til dusk but the drive RT to return wasn't practical. We had a lovely time in the park, we would go back.
