“So Small yet So Special”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

I was touring around and not visited Yallingup for about 30 years.
I came upon Shaana Cafe more by accident but good fortune waited.
The welcome is first class from the family running the restaurant, the furniture has to be seen, lounge chairs with wings, kitchen chairs, nice wooden chairs...something for everyone.
I sat in one of the lounge chairs and with the very light scent of incense - which I usually avoid totally - and the (indian) music, I was delightfully relaxed.
The coffee was superb, a newspaper was delivered to my table with a 'take your time, friend'.
I didnt get to the courtyard or upstairs - my feet dont allow much walking - but I was totally enthralled.
Oh yes, and you must try the special meringues with cinamon... scrumptious

“Quirky tasty little place, a sweet treat down near the beach.”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

What a sweet treat down on the beach!
This little cafe seems very small until you step into the courtyard and realise it goes upstairs also.
They have a servery window for quick coffees and food in the run, but take the time to stop for a bite, its very tasty and a lovely atmosphere.
The choice in the menu is quite alternative and healthy i.e sourdough toast white or rye with 2 organis eggs of your choice and lean bacon, sourdough toast with almond butter and honey, fresh orange, carrot, ginger juice served in a jar with a stalk of celery.
The courtyard is decorated with quirky little bits and bobs and the staff are friendly and will acknowledge your arrival and departure.

“Sen-pasta-sational !!”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

Tonight we enjoyed a pasta night at Shaana, it was obvious that a lot of time, thought and effort had gone into the night. The pasta, all homemade, with a history of where the type of pasta originated was on the table to read . Three types of pasta's came out over the course of an hour or so. A laminated card with green on one side (means keep serving pasta ) and red when you were are full. The pasta was so fresh it is cooked and brought to you in the sizzling pan! $25 for all you can eat and BYO is fabulous pricing. When we were leaving the owner told us they were going to do a pizza night.... Can't wait for that.
