“Sunday afternoons could be messy if we lived nearby!”
Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

What a great place to find on a sunday afternoon drive..

Enthusiastic staff, amazing tasting beers and cider, a band playing outside and sunshine...if only one of us didnt have to drive and we lived closer!

“Great fun”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We went there as part of a winery tour. Great beers and the staff were so friendly. Would have liked to have stayed and drank for longer!

“Great little pub”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We returned to the Bush Shack Brewery after a visit on a wine tour - great platter served and a large number of beers. Yes there are other good breweries in the area but they are more of a corporate style so Bush Shack stands out because of its individuality - Deb was a great hostess.

“A rough diamond.”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Just when we thought we'd seen 'em all we rocked up to the Bush Shack Brewery and found a different experience. Make sure you taste their Twisted Lemon Lager (if available) because this was THE standout brew of the 36 or so beers and ales we tried in our three day tour of the region from 6 of the microbreweries. Bush Shack don't brew large batches of their beers, ciders and other alcoholic drinks so the kegs can run out before another batch is brewed. The food here is relatively simple but decent and there is an excellent playground for the kids. This little bush gem is tucked away off the main road and has an atmosphere reminiscent of a pub in the wilds of the Northern Territory. The manager is a great guy who will take the time to explain the attributes of each brew in his animated and amusing way.

“Go somewhere else”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Have been here before when it was called something else. Sadly the environ has not been kept up to date or more accurately in good order. To say it's untidy and outdated is flattering.

Plenty of parking available and a play ground for children.

Each time I've been they never have a full selection of their beers. Today was no exception. The setting needs to be tidied up and the state of the furniture - well perhaps a verge pick up would be more suitable for them.

Sitting inside is not really option unless it's wet because in the warmer weather it would be just too hot and uncomfortable.

We drove past the Cheeky Monkey Brewery and we should have gone there instead of this place. Best thing you can do is avoid it - there are about 6 other breweries around the place so you can chose far better until such time as they spend some money on the place and get their stock in order.
