We stayed at the Honeybee cottage and were impressed with the high quality the cottage presents. The cleanliness is impeciable. I have never stayed in a cottage in bushland so clean (no spider webs or bugs). The set up of the cottage is great! Outdoor cooker, a great size fridge, great cooking utensils, DVD's waiting for us on arrival, extensive range of brochures on things to do around the area and restaurant choices and the view of the bath - Bliss!

There is so much wildlife and the honeybee cottage is removed from the other cottages for that great getaway!

I would highly recommend staying here.

Since our first stay in 2009, my husband and I had wanted to do a residential cooking school for our return visit. The Thai Temptations cooking class we did with the talented owner and chef Sioban in mid-September was fantastic - lots of interesting and useful tips and info about preparing Thai food and a delicious feast at the end! The other's in the class added to the day's enjoyment - we had a lot of laughs and a great time with a really lovely bunch of people.

As per our last experience in the Honeybee Cottage, the accommodation in Dragonfly was just as wonderful. Everything was fantastic again - spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want, including soft fluffy towels. As breakfast was included, we enjoyed yummy offerings prepared by Carlo on both days - an excellent start to the day.

We have already recommended Wildwood Valley to our friends - a truly enjoyable experience in every way - we can't wait to get back again!

We have just had a wonderful stay in the DragonFly cottage!!! Truly 5 star! Everything you could ask for and more. We arrived late and the cottage had been set up for us as promised, heating on with ample firewood for our complete stay and rooms arranged as we had requested. The cottage was spotless and the rooms very generous in size. What a gorgeous view with a lovely morning visit from their horse. The staff are very friendly. A really beautiful place to stay as a couple, family or with friends. We are already planning our return trip! Highly recommended - you will not be disapointed. A great family place to stay with luxury items - worth every penny :)

Plenty to see and do in the area, and a beautiful peaceful spot to come home and relax by the fire. Very helpful and kind owner and staff. Kids loved the kangaroos, sheep and horses. Thank you, Peter & Amanda

We stayed in the Blue Wren cottage and it was marvellous. The house was spotless, the bedrooms were large and inviting, bathrooms were very clean, the kitchen was huge (and would be great for a dinner party!) and there was plenty of firewood left for us, with which we built a fire that kept the house toasty warm while sitting in the living room reading in the evening. There was a washing machine, and a dishwasher, and plenty of crockery and cutlery (so we could accumulate dishes and just run the dishwasher once). Kangaroos hopped around freely near the house. Wildwood is close to the wineries on the northern side of Margaret River, and we went wine-tasting at a few around this area. We also went for a walk one day along Smith's Beach, which is less than 10 minutes drive away. We drove into Dunsborough for meals when we didn't feel like cooking, or for groceries - it is about 20 minutes drive away. This is my perfect idea of a getaway - peace, quiet, not hearing anyone else but just the wildlife, and feeling like we are the only people around for miles! One last thing, our mobile phone reception (with Telstra) in Blue Wren was not good. Often we had no signal, it dropped in and out - this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you want, I was pleased not to be interrupted!

The Margaret River region has become a favourite holiday destination for me. I have stayed in many places over the past 20 years but since discovering Wildwood, I have not stayed anywhere else. The location is stunning; the accommodation roomy, comfortable and clean; the hosts friendly and welcoming; food ordered for arrival equal to any from a top-class restaurant - the whole experience is fantastic! I have introduced many others to Wildwood, including a group of international tourists who will be staying in the cottages for the duration of their Margaret River wine tour. Just a wonderful place to stay!
