As you drive up the winding driveway to 'seclusions', you leave your worries and the hustle and bustle of life behind. Almost a transformation from city to country in one split second. The first impression of the house is one of awe. It is huge and plentiful. Set back from the road, there is nothing to hear but the birds and splashing of the water features as you walk up the steps.
Walking into the B&B nothing has been missed and everything thought of. From the generous room size, to the theatre room (with complimentary port and chocs) and common area for breakfast. Beds are particularly comfortable and can be guarenteed a great nights sleep.
Ken and Fran are fantastic hosts and have a copious amount of knowledge of the region. Not only have they lived there for the last five or so years, they have been visiting the region for over 30!
Breakfast is none other scruptious and definately full filling! The lemon curd and homemade preserves are to die for, not to mention the salmon and omelettes. Everything is homemade by Fran and you can definately tell the love and pride she puts into all that has been made to make your stay a memorable one.
All in all, we were very relaxed to say the least. I think the combination of great service and location were definately the key to our superb relaxing stay.

Thank you Fran and Ken - we will be back sooner than we said!

We spent 2 days at this beautiful bed and breakfast hidden in the bush but close to everything. Ken and Fran gave us privacy but were also very helpful if we need anything. Would recommend this place to couples who want a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This bed and breakfast was just a beautiful experience. We received personalized service and nothing was too much trouble. Only having two rooms at Seclusions meant that it was always nice and quiet, we were never disturbed and we could come and go as we pleased.

This hotel is perfect for those wanting privacy, and a luxurious surrounding in a gorgeous bushland setting. We couldn't fault anything with this place. The hosts are not intrusive but are still attentive to the needs of their guests.

It is also in a perfect location for day trips to Margaret River, Augusta, Dunsborough and Busselton. Also check out the self-guided cave tours around the area.

Room Tip: The Bali suite is just beautiful.

We needed to stay just one night as we needed to attend a wedding. Fran & Ken were very accomodating to our early check in request and were ready and waiting upon our arrival. The Bali room was very nice with all the facilities we required. The breakfast was sensational as we had to return to Perth early in the morning. I would certainly return and reccomend this B&B to anyone.

Room Tip: Be prepared to relax and take a load off.

We wanted a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of Perth and chose a B&B for the first time ever as our destination. I don't think we could've chosen any better and it has changed our perception of staying at B&B's.

The positives were plentiful starting with the hospitiality shown to us by our hosts, Fran & Ken. Whatever we needed we got and we really were spoilt. It's always nice to meet people that are genuinely friendly and helpful. Fran even booked us into a recommended restaurant in the area before we got to Seclusions (and it was sensational).

The accommodation was very good, with Seclusions being one of the newer places in the area. The rooms themselves were impressive, nice and large with everything one would need to be comfortable. The common areas shared between 2 guest rooms were also excellent with the theatre room being luxuriously comfortable and the outside/inside eating areas relaxing and nice. Apparently an addition to the outside area coming shortly) will add to the impressive facilities and I can't wait to see that being finished.

The breakfast provided by our hosts was fantastic and one could choose from a list that caters for numerous specific breakfast needs. I had the Seclusions special (salmon and poached eggs) one morning and mushroom omelette the next. Nothing beats home cooked meals.

We really can't complain about anything and to add to our complete experience was the fact that Seclusions is in a quiet secluded spot in the heart of the Winery area. Most things were within a leisurely 15min drive. The experience has made us think more about B&B travelling in the future. Highly recommended for couple getaway!

Thanks Fran & Ken

and thanks for the parting gift.
