Owner description: Explore the ancient wonders of Ngilgi Cave! The Cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. Ngilgi Cave is located just off Caves Road, a short distance north of Yallingup, beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste. The fascinating association with a rich Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine) gives Ngilgi Cave its name. Explore the cave and experience stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helictite and shawl formations. Visit an interpretive area detailing Ngilgi Cave's interesting history. A cafe, playground, barbecue facilities and walk trails make Ngilgi Cave a fun place to visit for the entire family. OPENING HOURS 9.00Am to 5.00Pm (First tour at 9.30Am Last entry to Ngilgi Cave at 4.00Pm.)

Interesting... Start off with a 15 minute tour and learn the history of the cave and then you explore the rest on your own. Worth a visit if you're passing.

Today we did the Crystal Crawl tour. Our guide Andre was fabulous. Very knowledgeable without being boring! The tour itself is incredible. Climbing, crawling, getting dirty, and getting to see parts of the cave that the regular tours dont go to was just great. The highlight would have to be seeing some of the most beautiful and pure crystal formations - just took your breath away. There were a couple of hairy parts which I may not have got through without the help and support of Andre and my partner!!! But all in all, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is physically able to do it. You wont be disappointed!! Thank you so much!

I was hesitant at first - toting two boys age 13 and 15, plus a 10 year old girl - but what a great experience - it was the highlight of the kids holiday. The tour guide was so attentive, ensuring we knew how to use the caving helmets, the headlight and ensuring our safety. The boys were geared for adventure and the cave, being so large and diverse was so engaging, especially the crawl into the large space, and having to do the climbs through narrow gaps - challenging and exciting. I enjoyed the Tassie Tiger fossil and in the pitch black listening to the story of the spirits who guarded and fought in the cave - the history was engaging. Well done to the good quality tour guide who cared that we did have a good experience.

It great that it is a semi self guided tour. The first 15 minutes is with a guide and then you can explore the cave for yourself. I really like this combo. If you are very unfit or have knee problems etc then give it a miss.

Visited the caves today and was thrilled we went. Amazed at the beauty and enjoyed every minute of it. Lots of stairs to climb but well worth it. Thank you for the tour. We will recommend the Caves to ours
