Owner description: Explore the ancient wonders of Ngilgi Cave! The Cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. Ngilgi Cave is located just off Caves Road, a short distance north of Yallingup, beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste. The fascinating association with a rich Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine) gives Ngilgi Cave its name. Explore the cave and experience stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helictite and shawl formations. Visit an interpretive area detailing Ngilgi Cave's interesting history. A cafe, playground, barbecue facilities and walk trails make Ngilgi Cave a fun place to visit for the entire family. OPENING HOURS 9.00Am to 5.00Pm (First tour at 9.30Am Last entry to Ngilgi Cave at 4.00Pm.)

I took my son (11) on the two hour " Ancient riverbed tour" while my wife took my 8 year old daughter on the standard tour.
We all enjoyed ourselves immensely!
Our tour guide was brilliant. Informative, knowledgeable , reassuring and with a quiet, dry sense of humour.
The tour was not overly taxing, probably about right for a novice, but it was extremely interesting.
Most of the visitors photos have been taken using flash on their cameras and are not as spectacular as the cave actually is. Bracing your camera or phone on one of the handrails and turning the flash off gives a better result.

We went here for my husband's birthday and did the express adventure tour, was so much fun! Enjoyed it so much it made us want to go back and do one of the longer adventure tours. Highly recommend! Way more fun than sticking to the boardwalks and actually experiencing caving :)

I went to the cave because it got really high grades in tripadvisor.... Having seen different coves in Mallorca, Spain and Tuscany, Italy, I didn't find it really special... The coves I have seen before where by far more impressive. I find it anyway really good the fact the you have a reference person for asking questions and it is for sure a good activity in a hot summer day. I think that the tours in the zones closed to the public could be lots of fun although pretty expensive.

Amazing cave, catering for the average not so adventures person, or adventure all the way. great guides, humoristic moments granted.

the adventure tour is fantastic! you dont know how much you can squeeze yourself to narrow spaces until you have experienced the "double squeeze"...

Thank Acupuncture A
