“Great place for a swim and snorkel”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

On our way round the island, we stopped by at Salmon Bay for a swim and picnic lunch. Really enjoyable and was great swimming watching the fish pass by.

“Tranquil Bliss”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Little Salmon Bay has to be the best place o the island - sheltered and safe the snorkelling is wonderful. There is an underwater interperative signage which swimmers can follow - it is a great way to enjoy the underwater experience - great for kids and adults

“Stunning snorkelling”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

It's a nice cycle from the main settlement (make sure you take lots of water - more than you think you'll need). Enough of a cycle to know you're doing exercise!

“Beautiful early morning , fantastic at sunset”

We went for a bike ride to Salmon Bay and it was perfect. Low swell, crystal clear water and heaps of fish to view when snorkeling. Loved it.

“Little Salmon Bay”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

If you're coming from the main settlement you'll hit Little Salmon Bay first and this is a GREAT spot for both snorkling and kids. My husband snorkled and I played with our 2 year old for about 2 hours. We loved it. It's a secluded cove and across the street there are toilets (hard to find on the beaches in Rotto). Definitely recommended, especially if you want to snorkel and have a little one to entertain.
