We have stayed with Derek and Sue on several occasions.
This highly secluded, peaceful and bushy place has heaps of character and you will love it.
Our first visit was in the Garden Studio, The second in the Wattle Room.
The Garden Studio is a separate room surrounded by bush with a verandah. Nice view down to the stream.
The Wattle Room has darker wood also with a balcony in the bush setting. I understand this now has an on-suite whereas the other spots have shared toilet and shower. But never saw any of the other guests so it was like your own home.

I also stayed a couple of times when passing through Nannup in the Safari tents which have slightly more basic amenities (but still WIFI of course) and where I have spotted possums at night.

Proprietors Sue and Derek were happy to pass on lots of local knowledge including about the bird life, the local restaurants and pub which are all within easy walking distance, camping spots, walking and cycling tracks including the Munda Biddi track.

We will be back!

Room Tip: Garden Studio outlook is best.

Motorcycling heaven! Many of the best riding roads in Western Australia are easily accessed from here (the proprietor is a motorcyclist!). Terrific day rides on winding roads through pretty country with plenty of good stopping places for food and refreshment. It doesn't get much better than this!

Room Tip: Select according to budget

Stayed recently in the garden studio and was delighted. Beautiful room, forest-like outlook and great isolation from other guests, all in a relaxing, low-key setting. Hard to believe you're only five minutes' walk from the pub.

Room Tip: Bathrooms are on the main building, so perhaps choose one of the nearer rooms if that's a concer...

I stayed in the safari tent - woke up to beautifully colored birds and horses peering in from the adjacent paddock. Felt like I was in Africa! Enjoyed a glass of wine with the owners, up at the main house, next to a pond where I watched the frogs watching me! the owners are friendly and very helpful. My elderly mother stayed in a room nearer the main house to have closer access to bathrooms. I did not mind at all using the torch the owner provided to meander up the moonlit path to use one of the bathrooms. My mother and I loved the gardens. I enjoyed being able to walk into the main street of Nannup, and across to beautiful walking tracks and to see the river.

Property is very overgrown so it us easy to miss. This place is not for everyone but I loved it. Garden fragrances and enormous amounts of greenery make it a lovely place to just relax. Not ensuite arrangement but tolerable. Refrigerator, 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, teakettle were provided.

Art is everywhere. 2 charming cats in residence. Numerous outdoor places to sit.
