“Not that good”

Entry price was good, a lot of birds in cages with nothing but some food no greenery (trees ect) felt sorry for them. Birds that were flying around seems skittish none of which landed or even came close to us.

“Worth it for The Whale Watching Tower”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Rainbow Jungle was a nice morning out for a family, however while I am a wildlife lover, I found the enclosures for some of the birds way too small for the birds sizes and without adequate perches or fresh branches, and this was off putting. The main area which has free flying birds,is very nice with plenty of native trees and water ponds for the parrots. This was a lovely spot and the children liked this part of the "Jungle" very much. The Whale Watching Tower had to be the highlight for me, this is a fabulous structure that overlooks the Indian Ocean, and we did see many whales breaching our of the water and all within good view. A Fantastic Photo spot. I must also say that local aboriginal artwork that was for sale was very nice and enjoyable to view. Rainbow Jungle is a nice morning out, and would be especially enjoyable for those without much knowledge of Australian and Exotic Birds.

“A good bit of fun and reasonably priced”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

We all loved having look at all the amazing parrots and the kids loved it - particularly the foul mouthed bird who'd been taught a four letter word and used it!! He started gently by telling you to "shut up".

The place is run well and by friendly staff and considering how expensive everything is in Kalbarri I thought the entry fee was very reasonable.

Nice little gift shop and lots of amazingly exotic birds with a fantastic look out tower to climb too.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

Just back from Rainbow Jungle. Loved it! All sorts of beautiful parrots and parakeets, mostly native australian but some others too. Had a nice chat with one of the parrots. He wanted to know what I was doing a lot :0). The free flying area is cool. Spent almost 2 hours there. Great for all ages.

“Lovely place”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Some lovely birds to see. Also some very talkative birds as well. The kids and the big kid loved trying to get various birds to talk to them. The area where there are birds just flying around is lovely be aware tho they almost take you out my 4yr old had a bird fly smack into his face. Its a lovely oasis and very well maintained. My favourite bird was Hot Tuna (who whistles jingle bells, waltzing matilda) who loved being talked too so much he was wagging his tail like a dog lol. They have a great gift shop as well full of some very nice items.
