Any concerns we had about choosing a hotel out of Exmouth were quickly allayed, as the friendly staff welcomed us and helped us settle in. Everyone was helpful, and the excellent service extended to transport being provided to and from the town. Outdoor facilities included a swimming pool, heated spa and biggest BBQ area I have ever seen.

Thank you for your nice review! Yes the BBQ is a ripper! You should see ti now! We have some good rain and all plants are going bananas! Nice lush lawn and the palms are all thriving! With the temperature dropping the spa is the most used facility at the moment!
Thank you as well for the compliments and we do appreciate your feedback! It is very nice when our work is appreciated!
Thanks and hope to see you again soon!

We were in Exmouth specifically to explore the reef and swim with the whale sharks all of which was great. The accommodation was what we'd come to expect from the region, not particularly inspiring and the former military base location a bit quirky. However any shortcomings were easily surpassed by the level of personal service from the hotel manager. We'd stay there again for that reason alone and if you read this Jim then thanks again, espesially for the shuttle service back and forth into town.

Thank you for your compliments and review. Jim is very happy that you appreciate and acknowledged his effort and service. It is a challenge to balance expectations with reality out here in the bush and in this isolated and harsh environment! We opted for the best and most solid building with the best services available and "recylced" this building! Nice to hear you calling it "quirky"! Unique in it;s own right and mixed with the atmosphere we are creating it is working!
Thank's so much for your review and sharing your experience! Most appreciated!
Hope to see you again soon!

The Sea Breeze was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and had everything i needed. The folks at the front desk were especially helpful and made my stay extra special. They assisted me with tour reservations and were very helpful with dinner arrangements and shuttle services. Have to admit I was put off by the exterior of the building but when I learned the history I understood what was behind the design. Thanks again to Jim at the front desk for being so helpful!!

Thank you for your review and the time to write about us.
After 11 month of drought we had a bit of a sprinkle late in May this year and we missed out now 2 Cyclone seasons of good rain fall. As you know water is limited in Exmouth and we treat it as a luxury item so I agree the resorts outside is not as lush and nice as it could be. But as you pointed out we make up for it with great personal service and nice appointed studios. Can't beat the BBQ area at night can you???
Thanks for staying with us and hope to see you back sometime soon in the beautiful part of the world!
Kind regard

WHAT brilliant way to spend 8 days to do as much or as little as you want, its down to YOU.
also nothing was to much trouble for jim and all the staff. we found the rooms clean and well stocked daily.
the only thing i found hard was the little tea cups but was soon rectified when jim loaned me two mugs.(thanks jim)
its a pity there is no bike hire because then every one would be catered for but that didnt deture us .
For the fit there is some great walks to be had or the staff will run you into town and pick you up later .
even romantics can enjoy the sunrise or even sunsets wile having a barby.
THE main thing you must do and thats snorkel or dive with the whale sharks,in fact we are going to re-book in eighteen months time because we enjoyed it that much,so get ready Jim the burgins are coming back!!.

We were staying in Perth with relatives for 2 weeks and decided to spend a week in Exmouth as we have wanted to swim with the whale sharks for some time. This hotel was excellent for our needs. We particularly liked the room facilities- big fridge, microwave and electric hob, kettle and toaster and we self catered most of the week, using the free gas barbeque most nights as well. The air con was quiet and very efficient. The location was good -only 5k from Exmouth and nearer to the national park. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and the laundry and washing lines were very handy. I especially liked the proximity of the local wildlife, with emus, kangaroos and herons wandering around. Staff were very helpful and friendly, advising us on places to go etc. It would have been helpful to know in advance that beach/pool towels were provided on request, as we took our own and that beach umbrellas and cool boxes could be hired, all of which we took advantage of. All in all a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Had stayed here before and liked it, but this time we didn't have a choice anyway because of school holidays. Worked out great though, as we could mosty self-cater with the big fridge and more than adequate oven and hot plates. Staff were very friendly and helpful, for example supplying us with an extra lamp. Location out of town is actually a bonus during busy school holiday time, and also saves just a little bit of the longish drive every day into the National Park to go snorkelling! Couch in our first-floor queen bed room was especially appreciated to flop out on and catch up with holiday reading.

My sister and I recently had a restful holiday in Exmouth WA, staying at the Best Western Sea Breeze. The service was warm welcoming and attentive, the resort itself was a refuge - set in the red dust of remote WA but a stones throw from the azure waters of Ningaloo Reef. The manager, Jim and staff went to great lengths to ensure we had a great time, knew where to swim and snorkel, where to eat in town. We swam with whale sharks on the reef - a truly memorable, magnificent experience.
Highly recommended!
