Lovely hour long trip through the Gorge and Yardie, definitely check it out if you are in the area. Peter has some awesome local knowledge and wildlife knowledge and we saw plenty of wallabies as well.

It is really a “must do” while visiting Cape Range National Park. The tour takes around 1 hour and you will see lots of birds, flora and rock wallabies.
But what we enjoyed most, despite the spectacular views of the creek and its cliffs, were all the explanations provided by our guide (Peter) about the creek and the whole Cape Range area.
The price, 35 AUD, was very reasonable… We loved the tour very much and would recommend it to everyone while visiting this beautiful national park.

It was really a fantastic experience for my family (my wife and 10-year-old son) and myself. Our guide had been trying to show us as many as possible during the tour. We saw a several rock rock wallabies and they were so cute.
Please note that the starting point is located about 90 km away from the Exmouth town centre, and about 46 km from the toll gate of the Cape Range National Park. The drive along the Yardie Creek Road was also beautiful and fantastic.

If you are visiting Exmouth, it is well worth the drive to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park for the Yardie Creek Boat Tour. We had seen the Boat Tour featured on a travel show recently, so decided that it was something that we would like to do. The boat tour departs from Yardie Creek Jetty with owner/operator Peter Maier expertly guiding the boat gently up the creek & providing commentary about the rock formations, flora & fauna along the way. The trip up the creek takes about 30 minutes each way with Peter providing plenty of opportunity to take photos for people sitting on both sides of the boat. At $35 per person we considered this very good value for money and would recommend it to others.

a wonderful hour's boat trip, marvellous rock cliffs, wallabies and birds, great information provided by Peter who somehow maintains his enthusiasm and love of the place despite obviously have given these talks many times.. A bit over an hour's drive from exmouth. Departs at 1100 and 1230. cost $35 each.
