“Black footed rock wallabies!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We only found out about this activity when I started reading up on the Cape Range National Park. It is not a long tour, but a pleasant outing with terrific opportunity for spotting animals and birds. The boatman knew his stuff, telling us a lot about the area and being sure we spotted all the highlights.

One of the reviews below suggests a kayak, and that could have been great, too, for those who like kayaking. You would have to plan in advance to do this... check out the map and distances. We walked up the trail afterwards, but did not go far on the uphill rocky part, where you would have to go if you were trying to see animal life - it was pretty rough (not sure a naive person would be able to spot wallabies even if they were visible - they are very well patterned to blend into their environment).

“Fantastic tour”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

We really enjoyed this tour. The guide was really well informed and had many anecdotes. This is a very beautiful place and was quite unexpected. There were lots of photo opportunities and the boat was very comfortable.

“Better hiring a Kayak”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

We were going to go on this tour but found a place across from the Cape holiday park (mini golf cafe) that hired kayaks. We hired them and paddled down the creek. It was so relaxing and we had lunch at the far end of the Creek. Full day of fun.
