“Large modern very spacious house with quality fittings”
Reviewed November 10, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This fantastic house was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate a special birthday.

The house is located on are large block in a housing estate about 2km west from the Dunsborough township which gives it a rural setting feel.

You enter the house through a large glass door into a wide hallway that leads you down to the huge living area with floor to ceiling large windows overlooking the backyard.

The lounge area is at one end of the living area with a large TV with the large kitchen in the centre of the room and the dining area at the other end of the room. There is a door off the dining area that takes you into the theatre room where there is another large TV..

The kitchen has quality appliances (convection hotplate, oven, microwave, dishwasher, inbuilt coffee machine so bring your own coffee beans and large 2 door fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser.

The bedrooms are accessed from a hallway near the front entry with a spacious master bedroom with a large ensuite with double basins, rain head shower and large spa bath. There is a queen bedroom with an ensuite and 2 other bedrooms with both having twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower and bath.

There is a powder room off a small hallway close to the living area.

There is a laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board together with a clothesline on a deck outside the laundry door.

The garage is accessed through a door off the entry hallway and it has been converted into a games room with table tennis, air hockey and a computer game table.

All the floors are polished concrete except for the bedrooms that are carpeted.

All rooms including the bedrooms have their own air-conditioner.

There is a large timber deck at the back of the house with huge sliding glass doors that when opened brings the outdoors indoors. The deck has a large outdoor table and chairs and also a large barbeque. There is a fire pit in the back garden.

There is plenty of parking space at the front of the property.

My family loved this house with plenty of room for the 7 of us. Even the 30 year olds enjoyed playing games in the garage.

We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and toasting marshmallows.

The town of Dunsborough has plenty to offer with supermarkets, a great Bakery, hotel, restaurants and shops.

The beach near the township is great for children as it is in a protected bay with calm water. The beaches at Yallingup, a little down the road are surf beaches. The Margaret River Wine Region is a short drive south and this area has lots of wineries, restaurants, attractions, art galleries and beaches. Visit the Tourist Information Centre in Dunsborough to get brochures and maps.

This house was very comfortable and offered us everything we needed. It was clean with good quality linen.

Due to the concrete floors if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs as the noise travels through the house. The property is not fenced so keep that in mind for children or dogs.

We very much look forward to returning to this lovely house.

“Ambience & luxury in great bush setting”
Reviewed April 26, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Great location only 20 minutes walk into Dunsborough. Beach is 5 mins drive.
Wonderful wineries, restaurants, breweries & galleries all within 40 minute (max)
drive. Plenty for young and old entertainment including table games in designated zone. The home has plenty of mod cons, with latest technology, all user friendly.
The indoor space is very versatile and easy to maintain, the outdoors is an exciting adventure world for little ones, and includes a firepit. Unfortunately we could not use this due to fire restrictions at present.

“Beautiful Modern Home, great design, well appointed furnishings”
Reviewed December 6, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Our group of 7 adults (extended family) stayed at Maybrook for 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it.
The home is a very spacious and thoughtful design with heating and air-conditioning in every room (The aircon in each room can either pump heat out of the room or pump heat into the room).
There are two 65 inch TVs and decent WIFI - was good enough to watch Netflix (bring your own Netflix account and sign in on the TV).

Location is excellent:
Near Dunsborough town/ supermarkets/restaurants (5 mins drive).
Very quiet and peaceful, and the whole kitchen and living looks out to a forested area beyond the grass backyard. Some mornings we saw kangaroos peering out of the forest - just lovely!

There was a table tennis table in the garage - which was good fun on days we wanted to stay in. Check with property managers if this is permanent cause I don't remember it being mentioned in the listing. There are some bats/ball but bring your own if you want to (table is in great condition).

There's a fancy coffee machine that'll grind your beans and froth your milk, beautifully appointed kitchen if you want to cook, a gas BBQ when you want to do your meats outside.

We couldn't ask for more at this price!

Liked best: The design of the home and its location in a quite forested area that's not far from town.
Liked least: The fourth bedroom had a twin bed with a very poor / weak foam mattress. All other beds had good spring mattresses.

“Maybrook was a DREAM!”
Reviewed May 30, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had the pleasure of staying at Maybrook for two nights in low season and if we were to describe our stay in one word; “incredible” comes to mind.

Keys were conveniently kept in a locked box at the property so there were no hassles picking up the keys from the office and dealing with the team at Exclusive Escapes was so easy and effortless.

This dreamy home definitely didn’t disappoint and is pretty much as you see in the photos. This very modern/contemporary home has some really great facilities like a gas fireplace, two large screen TV’s, AC in every room, Jacuzzi in the master bedroom ensuite, MASSIVE kitchen, coffee machine, fire pit outside and a water feature (however, this was not working when we stayed there). There is a patio area with a gas BBQ to entertain guests, the house itself provides a lot of natural lighting in the kitchen and lounge area and is conveniently located 5 mins away from Dunsborough town centre and roughly a 20 min drive to the coast.

The only slight downside that being mainly concrete floors and walls it was pretty cold (we went the last weekend of May), especially at night, and for some reason all the AC/heating in all the four bedrooms, bar one, would not turn on at around 2am when we all went to sleep on the first night of our stay. However, Andy was extremely helpful and contacted me pretty much immediately after I sent an email at 2.30am that morning, he came out and checked out the issue on a Sunday. Fortunately, we didn’t notice a problem on the Sunday night.

All in all, was a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again. This is the first time I’ve used Exclusive Escapes and certainly won’t be the last – I will be using them for all my down south trips from now on.

Thank you so much!

Katherine, Luke & Kadri
