This is my third visit to this hotel, and I have never been disappointed. Perfect staff, very friendly. Clean, comfortable rooms & an outstanding location. Great value. Added bonus of Earning Qantas points on my stay! Will come again for sure.

The Central hotel is indeed that - walking distance to all the Dunsborou restaurants and cafes plus the supermarket, petrol station, bakery ... The list just goes on. Neat and tidy rooms offer great value for money with the added bonus of convenience.

I wasn't expecting much when I booked this motel for a 3 night stay down South. It was a lot cheaper than anything else I could find in the region. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept the room and the gardens were. We were in the recently renovated wing (room 39) and the pool and lawn area was lovely. It was nice being so central: we did the beach/touring in the morning, wineries etc. in the evening, and were then able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Shops and cafes all just across the road. Friendly, helpful staff. What more do you want? (A view perhaps, but you have to pay much more for that.)

Room Tip: Room 39 and nearby have been recently renovated.

At some point in time your going to do the South West Australia trek, probably from Perth and down to Augusta and or Albany. Heading out of Perth one great spot along the coast to stop for the night (and prepare yourself for a day of wine tasting) is to pull into Dunsborough and what better than to stay at Dunsborough Central Motel. The motel is clean and tidy and despite being in the central part of town, very quiet. The hosts are lovely and the location is great, you can stroll into town and take in a few eateries or just the walk on the beach.

Room Tip: Having driven down from Perth there was nothing more relaxing that firing up the private spa bath in the unit and kicking back with a nice glass of wine (recently purchased from the region of course)

We stayed here last December and I gave an excellent review. This time it was just as good if not better as had new reverse cycle aircon. Also the 2 women at reception one whom was new were so welcoming and helpful. We are a family of 4 and we will be back again soon. Location is perfect and cleanliness which is paramount to us was great in our rooms. Thanks, Will
