Description: Nestled amongst the bushland of the glorious South West, overlooking a tranquil lake and soaring gum trees, lies Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough. Featuring all the loveable traits from the Fish Pub family, in the most spectacular of settings, Clancy’s Dunsborough is a must-see. Delicious seafood is scoffed and local beer and wine guzzled by locals and holiday-makers, while the sound of live music drifts through the serene surrounds. From art exhibitions and film festivals, to international touring acts playing to 1000 people, the venue is quickly becoming a cultural oasis for the South West region. Clearly a place for all, with families, surfers, muso’s, artists, tourists, dogs and even the odd emu, the entire family will love the grassy openness of Clancy’s Dunsborough……

Nice venue and good food - loved the fish and chips - and plenty of it. Good beer, though they were out of my favourite pale ale!
The music was too loud and not the greatest. But that's probably just our age showing!!

My friends and I visited Clancy's fish pub on our trip down south for the weekend. We had guests from New Zealand with us and wanted to show them the region. However, although the food was tasty - the service from the red head guy was so awkward and rude.

Upon arrival because we looked under 25, we had to present our id - no problem. But then we were made to wear wristbands - which nobody else in the place were made to wear. And one of our friends forgot her license and was offered a lemonade like she was a child.

She was also forced to buy a meal - despite being refused alcohol even though we were all clearly over 18.

Our friends from New Zealand came and had their passports - which were refused on the spot. We found this all really bizarre because we hadn't faced any of this attitude the entire weekend down south. Our friends decided to go to Caves house instead and were told we would get the same service (we didn't, at all).

Then when we were saying goodbye to them, they were told to get out straight away.

Like I said the food is tasty - but if you want to be treated like human beings and have international visitors - this isn't the place for you.

Loved the setting, huge deck overlooking a steep grassed area, very peaceful ( we went there on a Wed arvo so could get much busier during the weekend) got the fried mice, too spicy for my liking but very flavorful. I got the seafood platter for one which was exceptional value. Grilled prawns, black bean mussels (to die for!) fish, 2 oysters, chips, Vietnamese salad & aioli. Great service which I had found is indicative of most places down south. Would love to go back with a group of friends for drinks & lunch.

Def worth a visit.

Big open place with lots of friendly staff and quick service. Large portions and whilst not "fine dining" very acceptable if you're hungry. The night we went there was entertainment in the form of local talent hosted and backed by an experienced band leader/singer.
