We had a great stay over Easter. The house is large and modern and the bathrooms spacious and spotless. There are multiple living areas for separation if required and a large TV to watch the footy. The kitchen is well equipped and we especially enjoyed having breakfast in the outdoor living area from which you looked out onto the golf course. Ok, it is suburbia but it was quiet and with the golf course view you didn't feel surrounded by houses.
There are two driveways which is a bonus as we could park the boat and two cars.
Try to avoid booking through Trip Advisor unless you like paying "international" transaction fees. Yes that's right! The house is advertised in Australian dollars on the TA website and you are dealing with a local agent in Dunsborough. Despite this you get whacked 3% on your credit card. Worse still, it also applies to your damage bond. So TA has your $1000 for 2 months and bank takes $30 for the privaledge. Still waiting to see if they take another $30 when they return it. Tried to contact TA to change my credit card to one which doesn't have fees but this is impossible.
In summary - great house but book locally!
