This restaurant travels by reputation rather than appearances, as we affirmed when we ate here on the recommendation of our accommodation host.Very unassuming, both outside and in, yet the good, hearty food at reasonable prices delivers all one could want. Both our mains were delicious & we enjoyed the complementary papadums with 3 dips which preceded them.
On a Tuesday night in autumn it was mostly empty except for us, with an earlier group leaving before another arrived as we left. Service was friendly, decor basic, food delicious.
