“Bit dismal since the last time i went...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

The new buddah bar owners had attemped to turn it into a curry house.. IN my opinion they have failed miserably.. The old buddah bar was focused primarily around fresh local delicious tappas.. Now they have dry, sweet, not so nice curries. Its really sad to see as they were doing so well.. Not only is the food not very nice, it is very overpriced.. I know the locals definitely miss the good old buddah bar menu!

“Still dismal.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013 via mobile

We gave the restaurant another chance after a few months of new management. The service was slow, the food was average and the worst part was the menu was the previous owners with even more items crossed off in black marker.
Oh and it seems that its okay to bring your dogs into the restaurant.
Very dismal!

“Sorry for Denmark”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

We had visited the Healthy Buddha Bar on several occasions previously finding their food and venue to be reasonable so we thought it would make a nice luncheon to take out my wife's mum for a Birthday treat.
We returned this time to find that it had new owners and appeared now to be an Indian Restaurant. We have never experienced such poor presentation and quality of food from an Indian Restaurant like this in Australia before. We nearly walked out just on the presentation status but we thought it fair to at least try the food. Our intuition was right as it was unpleasant to say the least. In my opinion it is sad that we as public have to endure such bad efforts. They are Ambassadors to Denmark and have failed miserably....I feel sorry for Denmark!

“Cute and unexpected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

We found this little gem by accident and when we arrived to this converted house with neon lights out the front we didn't know what to expect. Concern built as we walked in to find we were the only ones there.

Looking at the menu we realised it wasn't tapas as we first thought but Indian food.

We ordered the chicken biryani and lamb rogan josh. Both were delicious indeed. Far greater than we thought they would be. We were even given a free naan bread.

The service couldn't be faulted with out waiter very helpful and friendly. Meal sizes were quite large so we took some leftovers with us.

The atmosphere is quirky, interesting and generally relaxing. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting denmark.

“Ok, but not the best Indian ever”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

Good and friendly service. Food was ok-ish, but also a bit disappointing. The presentation of the food was without ambition, the curry looked (and also tasted) like out of the can. They insisted it was homemade, which could well be. They were interested in our complaint, and perhaps they will work on improving things.
The location is really nice, though.
