“An absolute retreat”

After a long trip with two small children, we were very relieved to find such beautiful little chalets. We were warmly greeted by Bev. The chalet was extremely clean and well presented. All the finishing touches such as blueberry muffins, fresh eggs, and seeds for the birds was a lovely extra. When our gas ran low for the BBQ, Don replaced it within less then 5 minutes. The wood bucket looked rather lean, but once we got the fire going we were very warm to almost hot so did not light the fire till later in the evening the following night. We will definitely be back to enjoy the view, birds and hospitality.

Room Tip: We think Wonder had a fabulous room but the loft would not be good for very small children. We have...

me and a close friend stayed in the Peace chalet recently. We arrived after a long day of driving and received a very warm welcome from owners Bev and Don when we arrived after dark. When we entered the chalet we immediately felt right at home and were very positively impressed with the decor of the chalet and the personal touches left by Bev and Don (fresh baked muffins/birdseed/some toastbread/etc...) .The next days we truely enjoyed our stay, had lots of (spa)baths/ enjoyed the warmth of the reverse cycle aircon and the crackling woodfire. Watching the colourfull parrots eating the birdseed was a joy and we continuously enjoyed the fantastic views. We slept very peacefully, the beds were so comfy. Also did lots of trips, location is fantastic. We ran into a few problems (flat carbattery) and Bev and Don went out of their way to help us out. Nothing but good things to say about Karma Chalets and we`ll definately be back!! (Can`t wait)

Fantastic location. The chalets are peaceful and tucked away in the trees. They are raised so there are great views of the countryside and we could see water in the distance. Our chalet (Tranquility) was well decked out including heated towel rails and birdseed to feed the birds in the morning. A short drive into Denmark and William Bay. Enjoyed our stay, shame we couldn't stay longer.

The name of our chalet, Serenity, was an apt description for our stay at Karma Chalets. Welcomed by the friendly owner Bev, we were soon ensconced in our vey comfortable and clean chalet. On waking in the morning we were greeted by a spectacular sunrise over the valley with views through to the inlet. Sweeping views from the balcony really help you wind down quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed to self cater and we were far enough from town to relax yet close enough to pop in easily for supplies. Great location near wineries and next door to Forest Hill winery where we had a delicious lunch at Greenpool Restaurant. Would highly recommend Karma Chalets. Just the break we needed! Thank you.

We were lucky enough to win a romantic weekend away at the gorgeous Karma Chalets. I was blown away by the chalet, let alone the view outside. The chalet had everything we needed and more! Bev and Don could not have been more helpful. It was such a relaxing place to spend a weekend. We will definitely be back again in the future.

We stayed for 2 nights in Zen. It was a very relaxing stay and the chalet was very well appointed. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and all in all it was a very private and romantic setting that we are happy to recommend.
The owner mentioned that Forest Hill Winery next door was doing tapa's on a Friday night so we went in and enjoyed that very much, good recommendation Bev!

Room Tip: Zen was great!

On our arrival, Bev was really friendly and helpful. The chalet [Wonder] was clean and very well appointed, with sweeping views out over paddocks and woodland. It was lovely to listen to the frogs and the birdsong, complete with the booming of an emu close by.

Bev had a good selection of DVDs to loan out and our only slight criticism would be that the TV screen is bolted to the wall and can't be angled to face the seating area, which is a shame.

Although there was a total fire ban in place, it was distinctly chilly in the evening and we were glad of the reverse cycle air-con. It was a shame that we couldn't light the wood-burner, but the logs would have been $10 for what looked like a pretty small tubful, so perhaps we were better off with the free air-con!

The massage and reflexology in the Karisma Spa was a real treat and set the weekend off perfectly.
