“Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013 via mobile

If you get here the park is a must do in my opinion. We did not have a 4wd so booked with Wildsights out of Monkey Mia. Guide Katie was very competent and knowledgable. Could readily share her knowledge and related super well to her guests. Drove up one of the beaches, learned about the birrada's, plants and animals, saw dugongs, whiptail rays, turtles plus lots of fish and birds. Brilliant day in the bush and remote beaches.

“Worth the trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

We did this in nov of 2012.. We were going to go on a proper 4wd tour but it was full up so my hubby was given some good advice and we did this ourselves..was the best fun ever, the views were amazing, driving through natural bush that the aboriginal's would of walked through long time ago was an experience I will never forget..we saw lots of wild life too..and getting to the end and viewing the ocean..we saw dolphins playing, even saw a dolphin herding the fish around for the other dolphins to eat...loved it

“Stunning Amazing National Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

When visiting Shark Bay definitely drive to into Francois Peron National Park.
You need a 4WD vehicle; the road is 80km and takes 3 hours return, yes real rich red sand dune landscape to drive on.
Drive to Peron Homestead and experienced real station life.
Then you arrive at the turquoise waters surrounding the Peron Peninsula.
At Skipjack Point you can see so much marine life from two spectacularly located viewing platforms, perched on the cliff edge.

We saw rays, turtle’s, sea snakes, sharks, dugongs, schools of fish being chased by the dolphins and then the sharks chasing the dolphins - Massive amounts of fish and we were also lucky enough to see whales playing out in the distance.

Truly spectacular!
