We did a 3 cave deal (Mammoth, Lake & Jewel). Jewel cave was in my opinion, the most beautiful. The tour guide was very informative & entertaining & filled our minds with wonder. Lovely lights show.

Recently refurbished throughout with a lovely cafe as well. Jewel Cave is my favourite of the SouthWest Caves, and nice walk through guided tour. Great food at the cafe as well.

This was the third cave we visited after Lake and Mammoth Caves. this was not as tiring as the LAke Cave but was more beautiful with the different rock and Calcium Carbonate Stalligtites and the Stalligmites formations. the Jewel box formation was beautiful as was the skeleton of a six hundred year old animal so well preserved. Wonderful experience for the entire family. Parking available at all the caves.

If you enjoy exploring caves, this is a good one. There is some fantastic decorations in this cave and it is quite large / long. It is a guided tour so there is plenty of information available from the guide. As you would expect, there are steep stairs to get up and down but if you don't mind a bit of exertion, have a look.

A great trip out on a rainy day. The kids loved the skeleton of the ancient Tasmanian Tiger and they learnt a lot on the tour. Great coffee in the café.
