“Gobsmacked!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014

Upon first entering the apartment we were taken aback by how outstanding the living spaces were. Kitchen to-die-for, views from the terrace, then upstairs to two delightful bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. In this neck of the woods it's customary to have to put up with somewhat ordinary accommodation but I must say this outshone the lot. First time we've had a garage for the car (useful in the hot weather) and a short walk to all the facilities of the town.

Room Tip: Apartment S3.

Loved this place!

We were very lucky to get this place, or any place to stay in Augusta for that matter during this time of the year.

We were located in apartment four, which has water views and a double garage. The apartment is massive and comfortably slept and housed six adults for a few days. I remember saying to my wife that the apartment was something I could even live in it was that good!

It was also reasonably priced and check-in/check-out is easy just across the road at the hotel.

There were only two issues we could fault with this accommodation:

We realised after the first morning of cold showers there is a solar booster switch which provides constant hot water to the house. This should have been explained upon checking in, but we managed to work it out ourselves.

Secondly, upon moving in we found there were ants in three locations within the house, which we promptly took care of. They didn't come back, at least while we were there.

Apart from those minor issues, the accommodation was great!

The apartments were even better than the photos could illustrate.
The apartments are laid out very well, so even while they are close together the balcony and downstairs decking are private.
Accommodation was first class, very clean and tidy.
The check-in at the Augusta Hotel was quick and easy being just across the road.
All in all it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend it, and cant wait to come back for our next visit.

We stayed in unit 8 and the view was perfect in everyway! The unit was clean and tidy and had every modern conveinence that was needed. The IGA was a two minute walk away and with the cooking facilities provided it was easy to cook food for the family saving a pretty penny. The pub over the road was close enough to be handy but never heard a wisper from there. Heaps of blankets and doonas kept the kids warm and the split system did a great job of keeping the apartment warm enough. Wi Fi would have been handy but it was also good to get away for a relaxing holiday. It was at the pub and cafe, so not too hard to get to if really needed. Best holiday we have had for a while, love the town, heaps to do and see and so close to many other towns in the area. Make sure you go whale/dolphin watching, go fishing in the river, have Yahava coffee and fish n chips from the rainbow patch!!!

My husband and I had a four night break at these apartments in July last year and just completed another four night break. The accommodation was first class, lovely and clean, spacious and just what was needed to unwind for a few days.
The apartment is really well equipped, however the absence of some kitchen utensils (serving spoons etc) was a bit of a problem. It would cost only a few dollars to put this right.
To future visitors, please ensure that you bring the essentials, ie milk, salt, pepper etc as there is nothing in the larder, which is not a problem as the IGA is close.
We spent most of our time in Augusta and loved watching the whales and dolphins from the shore - there's no better place to spend a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: We had apartment No 7 which had views to the river and ocean beyond - a lovely quiet location.

With a family of four we had plenty of space to move around the apartment and lots of privacy.
The apartment was fully catered for with all amenities available.
We paid $200 for a nite. We were close to IGA super market n local pub and on the Main Street. I found Augusta was a little sleepy town and everything closes between 6-8pm other than pub. Just be careful as everywhere doesn't have efpos.
When we arrived at the apartments there was no reception/office! After ringing the number for the seine apartments they told us that we needed to go to the Augusta motel/hotel to check in. It didn't bother us but letting us know when we received our confirmation email would of been a lot easier than ringing around finding out how we get into our apartment. After communicating with them 3 times before arriving there was no mention that we needed to go to the Augusta hotel/motel to check in. When traveling all day with young children the last thing u won't to do is run around finding reception and keys for your apartment!
Other than that the apartment were very well kept with a great view.
We are house proud people and wot irritates me is when you pay good money for accommodation and inside the apartment there's all these rules and regulations stuck up on the walls telling us we'll be charged extra if u don't do this or that, makes me feel like I'm treated like a schoolie!

What a wonderful way to relax and get away from the busy hustle of the city. We stayed in unit 8 at Seine Bay in a two bedroom apartment fully equipped for six people. The place was clean, luxurious and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved it with plenty of things to do in and about the apartment and a short walk from all amenities. There is a bbq for cooking as well as a fully epuipped kitchen and the view is spectacular. We have stayed at various accommodations in Augusta but nothing beats the high quality of this unit. Well worth the $$$. Cannot wait to go back!

Room Tip: Apartment 8 has magnificent views and very well equipped for families and couples alike.
