“Needs more space!”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

In a few months, this has become a really popular takeaway. But there are a few tables inside and on the pavement outside, where you will be given a warm welcome and good advice about the menu. My impression is that the food has become a bit more mainstream since the place opened, so maybe the customers have been favouring the more conventional offerings, but everything is beautifully cooked by one of the neatest, cleanest chefs you've ever watched at work. A very friendly place for a good meal - and we have found the portions substantial.

“claustrophobic and a bit lame”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

Reasonably new but a very small space, food is the predictable Thai cuisine you'll find in a country town - more timid than in the city. Can do this at home.
Not great for one - one conversation without being overheard.
There's a less modern Thai option located approx 1km out of town towards Daylesford. Was previously Mexican and 'iffy' but now offers authentic (really) Thai with t/a available. Name ???
Still, offers room and consistent quality and worth investigating. Show caution if looking at Pub options as quality / service etc can be very poor.

“Deliciously different”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

Very welcoming place with truly delicious food that had a strong note of authenticity about it. Many items on the menu you just don't see in a typical aussie thai restaurant
Thanks!

“Best Thai we've had”

We had a delicious dinner at Naam Pla Thai. One dish was particularly spicy but excellent flavours. We had a fantastic soup too. Highly recommended.

“Great Food and Special Service”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

There were three of us and it was quite warm so it wasn't a problem sitting outside to eat (due to no tables being available inside) although we had to move quite a bit off the table so we could accomodate our meal plates. The waiters that attended us were delightful and very helpful in explaining the dishes. The kitchen was as clean as an operating theatre!! Our meal was exceptional for the price but don't expect a large meal. The presentation and taste sensation more than compensated for a large male appetite! The restaurant seating area is quite small so get in early or be prepared to wait - it's worth it!
