Standing proud at the top of the main street, The Lodge 241 Gallery Café has some spectacular views from the verandah. Yummy menu that is very affordable. Our party had the Gnocchi which was scrumptions and the lamb burger. Freshly made lamb patty with a delicious chutney on the side, salad, bacon and topped with homemade hommus dribbled over the bun. Good size meal. The kitchen was very accommodating to one of our members who wanted the burger but not the bun. They put together the burger makings and a lovely fresh salad to go with it. Rhubarb and apple crumble along with lemon tart made their way onto our table for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious. The blackboard menu is not huge but this allows for everything to be made fresh for each order. The chef makes everything from scratch including all the pickles and chutneys. We were there on a Saturday night and had live music but I believe this is usually a Friday night event. Study the artwork as you eat and the decor is definitely of interest. Well worth a visit when you are in beautiful Bellingen.
