From the outside it appears quite small and nothing special.
This restaurant has been going for around 12 months and we are now kicking ourselves for not going sooner.
The menu is quite extensive. We ordered an Assorted Platter and a Chicken Madras. Accompanied by Raita, Basmati Rice, Mixed Pickles.
The Chicken Madras was ordered as a Medium which was just perfect for my taste.
The Assorted Platter was a joy. Chicken Tikka, Samosa, Salad Seek Kebab served with tamarind and a Mint Sauce.
It is BYO which makes it an enjoyable inexpensive dining experience. The Platter was under $18 the Madras Curry less than $17.00 and the extras, rice raita and pickles around $10 in total.
I might add that the service was very good.
Highly recommend this eatery and we will certainly be exploring the menu very soon.

I ordered the potato and spinach curry, rice, naan bread and raita, too much to eat in one helping so I had enough for a second meal at home, had asked for mild to medium, wished the food had been a little more spicy, so next time I'll ask for medium

This was a really nice place for us to go on our first night in Bellingen. There actually isn't much choice of places to eat and I think this will probably be the best. The young woman who served us was so lovely and the food was delicious ! We didn't realise it was BYO so we had to nip down to the bottle shop. Nice atmosphere and great food for the price! Would definitely go back here!

The good lady & myself are frequent visitors to this special little local eatery. It's unusual for us - given the variety of places to eat in the area - to stick with one restaurant for too long and we normally like to share ourselves around. The Chilli Affair has managed to make us 'loyal customers' due to core requirements that I look for in a good restaurant, namely high quality fresh ingredients, real flavour, presentation, friendly & efficient service, and of course value for money.

We recently returned from overseas to find that the menu has been extended considerably (another smart move) and so now we're making our way through the list of new wonderful dishes trying to decide on which are our favourites. Tough job eh?

The $12.90 lunch special is real value. For that you get get a delicious curry, rice & naan (bread). Given a choice between a wonderful curry from Chilli Affair or a burger, I know which one I'll be going for every time.

We love Chilli Affair and dine here often. The food is top quality and a good variety of dishes to choose from on the menu. Some of our favourite dishes include their signature dish Chicken Tikka Masala, the sauce is just divine; Paalak Paneer and Chilli Paneer. The naan and roti breads are fresh and delicious. And if you are feeling a bit naughty and want a yummy dessert, try the Heavenly Gulab Jamun. The service is very friendly and attentive, and it is true, the waitress is always smiling which is delightful. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with subtle lighting, good for a romantic dinner and those special occasions, but also family friendly. The meals are quite good value as the food is fresh and good quality. The lunch specials are a very good deal for $12.90. I would definitely recommend it.
