We were in the Scillys in September and were lucky enough to bag a spot at the Tides Reach on their £20 set menu. In fact they even managed to conjure up a table at the first seating for us (with only 20 minutes notice) so that we could enjoy the Scillonian Entertainers last performance of the season!
The food was all very good although not spectacular like some other establishments we enjoyed during our visit. The portions were not large but that was a refreshing change after many huge meals. The view is lovely and you can add on a serve-yourself dessert buffet for something like £5. There was a very international mix of young staff who were all friendly and helpful.
We would definitely return but not sure I'd pay the full a la carte prices, these are perhaps geared more towards the hotel guests.
