We found the Vine Cafe by accident the first time we came to Bryher, and actively sought it out the second time. It has a strange charm in part due to the unpretentious atmosphere and the friendly openness of the proprietors and largely due to the fact that their food really is very good! They serve homely hot food that 'granny would be proud of' and not in a bad way. And for such a small enterprise they are surprisingly accommodating with special diets and served me up a delicious dairy and gluten free soup with gluten free bread. I immediately bought 2 pieces of gluten free cake to take away for an afternoon snack, a lemon drizzle style cake and a ginger cake and I have to say they were both absolutely delicious.. We will definately be back!
