Wonderful and friendly hosts. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice, but basic. B&B is up the hill in a very quiet part of Anacapri even in the high season. Only downside was that the room with ocean view had extremly minimal view of the ocean. However, this could easily be enjoyed from the nice common areas around garden.

Firstly the place is absolutely spotless. It's super clean. Hosts are also lovely, lots of information provided. I liked the location - Anacapri is quieter than Capri town, and this is set back up the hill so is even quieter still. NB I don't think this place will be suitable for people with mobility issues. A taxi might reach the front door, but I'm doubtful, leaving you with a 10/15min walk from Piazza Caprile.

A taxi from the port to Piazza Caprile will be about €30. There's a bus but don't try unless you have tiny luggage.

Breakfast on the first two mornings was good - selection of cake, fruit and yogurts and huge pots of tea or coffee and juice. This was not the case on the last day - one piece of cake left (which had been made for breakfast the day before), some bread that tasted a little stale and some unripe kiwi fruit. Disappointing.

I do think for what you are paying (over €400 for 3 nights) they could invest in a shower curtain - being told when you arrive that you must sit down to have a shower as they don't like water on the floor was annoying - and it's really easy to fix!

Filtered water is provided 24/7 which is really, really good and there's a communal fridge to store it in, though be wary of other guests taking your stuff - one of the neighbours decided one carafe of water wasn't enough for them and decided to take ours as well, so keep a water bottle handy. That's not the fault of the owners obviously.

Finally I'm a little unsure why there was a big sign in our room stating the maximum price for the room in high season is €65/night including breakfast. That's not what they are charging so why have it on display.

Generally I liked this place - mostly because the owners are lovely people and the place is incredibly clean and quiet

Il Tramonto is a perfect place to enjoy Capri, which can be crowded and crazy, in a setting that lets you appreciate why the island is so special. Luciana is a great host, she has good recommendations and is connected to many people on the island. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfasts have fresh offerings every day. The area is quiet and feels private. B&B has a patio with terrific views around the island - especially the sunsets - and is just a few minutes walk from a bus stop on the Capri-Anacapri line.

Our party rented rooms 1 and 3 for two nights this week. It was the best accommodation of our 2 week vacation. Sabrina and Lucianna were very gracious and helpful. The went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. All of the suggestions that we were given turned out wonderfully! Given the quality and quiet of the location, we felt that the price was very reasonable. Anacapri is a more relaxed, family friendly place. Much more peaceful than Marina Grande or lower Capri. It is also less expensive with regard to shopping and meals.
I would return to B & B Tramonto in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it!
