Description: This was a pleasant find at the arrival point for the Mont Solero chairlift, at Piazzetta Vittoria in Anacapri. There were some high priced touristy restaurants around the square. However by walking a short distance up the first street slightly uphill we came to Al Buco on the left.. Eating is indoors. It is a small restaurant with a full menu. The service is quick and friendly. The three of us only wanted a light lunch. So we split one lunch. They brought three plates. We had bread, salad, penne with tomato sauce, water and ice cream for 14 Euros. It was exactly what we had in mind. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Thoroughly enjoyed our pizza in this petit trattoria! Staff could be more attentative at times, however, we can overlook this. Give it a try when in Capri.

The owner greeted us and went to great lengths to make a good table available to us. We tried the red house wine and were not impressed; our waiter brought us an excellent, reasonably priced Sangiovese. Great atmosphere, food fair to good. Very busy by 8pm

Stumbled upon this for lunch one day and got wood fire oven cooked caprese paninos. Best panino all 3 weeks we've been in Italy. Liked them so much we picked them up again the next day AND opted to go to the sit down restaurant for dinner that night. We got fiori zucchi (stuffed squash blossoms -- sooo good) and the pizzas were amazing: best we've had in Italy. It was filled with locals: always a great sign. Family ran and very nice.

We were recommended this by our guide for the day, and most of the group had lunch there. They all had the set menu which was very reasonably priced, looked good and was generally well received. We decided to go with the carte – rather more expensive but the food was memorable, particularly the linguine al salmone. Service was efficient but quite friendly, especially when I tried my (limited) Italian. Prices seemed good compared with the places in the square just round the corner (just before Villa San Michele).

Great homemade Italian food, good house wine, and the price wasn't bad.
