We stayed here on two occasions on our visit to Ana Capri . Having only been to the restaurant a couple of years earlier we were excited to see if the rooms lived up to the price and look of the hotel. They do.
We split our stay our 4 days , the first two nights we had a standard room with no balcony . It is small but completely functional and well styled with a great bathroom. The pool area is fabulous and breakfast is very good. For all that complain about breakfast I don't get it . In Italy the focus is on pastry and fruit not eggs and omlettes. But eggs are offered.
The second room we had we were supposed to bevin a balcony room but we got upgraded to a junior suite. Fabulous.
The staff were super helpful with restaurants and reservations and calling stores when we needed to pick up altered clothing. It is not cheap bit nothing in Capri is. I can't wait to return

During THE five days that we stayer in the hotel, we lovend the service from the staff. Friendly, helpfull, and nice. The room was nice, somewhat too hot. The swimming pool was clean, and had enough space for the clients. The restaurant was not what we had expected. À little too simpele and the food was not so nice.
But the hotel was very good.

This hotel is so glamorous. The pool is beautiful, the rooms have all mod cons but...... We weren't allowed to use the pool due to 'maintenance' although no work appeared to be going on. The jacuzzi didn't work in either room despite intervention from the housekeeper. The view from the balcony was non-existent. Breakfast was an impressive buffet but the muzak was painful: loud soul diva stuff, not very relaxing and what was that weird art installation with the spooky clowns? Obviously a lot of money has been spent here but no soul. We fought for the right to swim as the pool was the reason we booked. The hotel owner stood and watched us with his arms folded. Intimidating.

What a beautiful hotel, our room was awesome, and the pool was fantastic; we would definitely stay here again! We were glad that it was not in Capri, what a zoo in the town centre with all of the tour groups. It was very convenient to catch the bus into Capri too... The sisters from Argentina were very nice to us (great Vodka Gimlet), they have a great little bar, and a super breakfast, the best on our trip!
Other tips:
*Go early to the Blue Grotto via the local bus, get there at 9:00AM
*Spend a day swimming in the Ocean and while having a great lunch at Beach and Restaurant DA Luigi, awesome views and swimming

Room Tip: All the rooms are probably very nice, ours was terrific

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Anacapri. The rooms were modern and were decorated very stylishly, and the bathroom with its butterfly mosaics on the wall was stunning. the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Breakfast was a buffet, with both hot and cold selections, although on our last morning the scrambled egg was almost cold. The hotel restaurant, Capricci, served some fantastic food, but unfortunately the service was not of the same quality. We'd chosen to share a starter, but instead it came out at the same time as one of the main courses. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and always spoke as you entered or left the hotel. The pool area was lovely and very uncrowded, at most there were 6 people at a time. From here it was easy to access all Capri has to offer, whether by bus or one of the wonderful stretch convertible taxis. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to friends.

Room Tip: Not worth spending money on a suite - you won't want to be spending your days in the hotel!!
