Close to Europa Park. Good restarurant and easy access to your room after show in hotel. A little bit pricy, but overall great stay. Kids loved everything in the hotel, food, entertainment, swimming pools. So, what parents can say......

I was there 2 weeks ago, the Hotel is clean, very big and with a nice pool. The room was normal size, without a safe and minibar , unaceptable for a 4 stars Hotel. The Restaurant was also nothing special with just 2-3 dishes per meat or fish menu , it is better having a buffet but this is not in a 4 stars Hotel point of view. The breakfast was very good and also the people at the reception they are really as A+ but in my opinion i think it is more simple as i thought, probably other Hotels are better. We had a dinner in another Hotel in EuropaPark and was really better and more with real "spanish atmosphere" .... Hotel Colosseo is not so Italian (Rome) atmosphere , not at all....and i lived 33 yrs in Italy so i know what i mean....

Room tip: Remember to ask for a room with safe and minibar!!!

Very good stay. Stayed for 1 night with wife and 3 + 5 yrs old kids. We loved the room, the deco. A fridge was missing. Free wifi that worked perfectly. Excellent breakfast and staff. Would recommend to anyone for a fun weekend, it will be part of the Europa Park experience. Only downside: you need to book in advance if you want to have a table for dinner in the hotel.

We went to Europa Park for a weekend. We chose the Colosseo as we had stayed here before.
There were 5 of us so we had 2 rooms one facing the courtyard plaza and the other a suite in the colosseum section of the hotel.

We arrive early on Saturday and checked in at reception to get our park tickets. Our rooms would be ready at 14:30. Check in was quick and efficient. Most staff had on their name badges a british flag showing they spoke english. Once we finished at reception, we headed out to the park.
At about 17:00 we headed back for our room keys, again, quick and efficient.
We headed off to the room in the main building first.
The room was decent size with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom was fine with a shower. The other room was one of the suites in the Colosseum section.
What a room! Large with high ceilings and a built in bunkbed. Separate bathroom and toilet rooms. The bedroom had a large queen sized bed. There was a well stocked mini bar and Nespresso machine. The bat tub even had two rubber ducks!. The room had two balconies which over looked the pool.
We all had a good nights sleep and the next morning we had breakfast in the restaurant. Standard german fare for a buffet. The character from the park walked through the dinning room and posed for pictures with the kids. We had no problem checking out.
Really looking forward to returning.

Room tip: We did splash out for a suite but the room facing the courtyard was also very nice.
