We only had the 'basement' flat (so do check which appartment you have booked if you think this doesn't sound great), so we didn't get a balcony, although there was a table and chairs for us parked on the 'terrace' just outside, but it wasn't private. However, I can't fault the place on the basis that we didn't really spend any time wishing we had a balcony, because it was only a useful place for 2 nights either side of our day at Europa Park. The apartment was very clean and shiny (slightly 'bling' for my taste, but not to worry!) with marble floors, a wii games station, TV, mini kitchenette, microwave (although not sure which socket you were supposed to use to plug it in!), very shiny bathroom. Only thing I didn't like were the nylony sheets, but I'm being fussy now. We enjoyed the shuttle ride to get us to the park, but wished we had taken the map to guide us back at the end of a long day because we did get a bit lost!! But yes Rust is very quiet and safe, we enjoyed our trip.
