“Good hotel.”
Reviewed April 13, 2012

Stayed in this hotel last June 2011 on my way down to Italy, phoned up on route & booked a room approx 5hrs before arrival, the receptionist spoke good english & very quickly made the booking.
The staff on arrival were friendly & welcoming, the hotel has a large secure carpark at the rear of the hotel which is locked during the night.
The hotel itself is situated on the main road out of town that goes to Bescanson,my room overlooked the road but even though there were heavy trucks passing they could not be heard due to the rooms having sliding double glazing which proved very effective.
My room was clean & tidy as was the bathroom,my room had cable tv showing French cable channels.
As stated by the other reviewer there is a bar next to downstairs reception, which goes through to the breakfast room & leads out into the carpark/garden.
I would certainly reccomend this hotel to anyone if your in the area, the room was just over 40 euros a night (breakfest extra) & represents good value for money

Room Tip: Top floor rooms round the rear of the hotel have better views (river) although you overlook the carp...

Recently we unexpectedly visited Gray. We looked around for a hotel and finally opted for this hotel that was registered with Logis de France.

The hotel had a very pleasant lounge, a licenced bar and a breakfast room that was situated in an enclosed verandah. The staff were very helpful and friendly. English was also spoken.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and paid 48 Euros for a bedroom on the first floor overlooking the free car park. The breakfast cost 7.50 Euros per person. The bedroom was very clean and had been aired before our occupancy. The room was larger than a normal hotel room in France and had the normal furniture, including a small stool for the suitcase as one would expect in a hotel room. The bathroom/toilet was also very clean. the double bed in the room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

The hotel had a restaurant that was situated approx 200 metres away in a redundant bus station and was actually in the now defunct waiting room that had been redecorated rather sympathetically. We had a menu for 20 Euros per head and really for this price we were not expecting anything too grand. However we were surprised as the portions were very large and the food cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. we both had steaks and they were cooked exactly to our requirements. Normally on holiday we experiment with restaurants, but on this occasions as the food was very reasonably priced and of excellent quality we went back the second night.

The hotel was situated near the river and was a short walking distance from the town centre even though one encountered a few flights of steps (the short cut).

If we ever happened to be near Gray again, we would certainly stay in this hotel again.
