“Great, but overrated”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Nice and clean beach at the end of the windy road from Piana - specked with spectacular views. But it has lost much of its natural flair, with restaurant (and hotel?) directly at the beach. Given its relative remote location, only a fraction of tourists find their way here from Piana - which makes it anything but cramped. Worth a visit!

“A Perfect Beach - Sparkling Clear Water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

We visited Arone Beach the first week in October. The road from Piana was spectacular with views of the sea and the Genovese Tower in the distance. It was well after the tourist season and the beach was uncrowded. A comfortable lounge chair and umbrella was available for a 10 euro daily rental from the folks that ran Le Casabianca restaurant. The sand was clean, white and fine. The water, even this late in the season was calm and warm. The clarity was remarkable. Just standing in chest deep water we could see fish swimming around us. Delicious ice cream at Le Casabianca, the handsome restaurant at the north end of the beach, topped off a totally satisfying day.

“A Beach to treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

Beautiful clean crystal-clear water gently sloping down to the sea. Great for kids, but never feeling overcrowded. Well worth the ride and hike just off the beaten track.
