“Won't be disappointed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

As others mentioned as well, this is a small place, so if planning lunch or dinner make sure you arrive early because it gets crowded quickly.
All the food seemed OK (not spectacular, but very decent). It seems like everyone is ordering burgers here, but I'm not much of a burger eater. Salmon was OK, although did not seem to be the freshest. But star of the day is definitely warm Camembert.

“Great simple food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Group of friends after lunch today. We walked into this tiny place today and initially the waiter was abit concerned about the size of our group ( we had 8 , 3 more arriving later, but they got their own table)
After a couple of seconds he realised it was do able, so he quickly rearranged tables, gave out menus and we were set. 3 had burgers, 1 salmon, 2 baguettes & 1 steak. All reasonably priced, all large meals and all very tasty. Service and food delivery fast too considering the waiter worked alone. He was friendly and we could all recommend this place. THANX

“A French Hamburger - just what I needed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

A tiny little spot in a very crowded and competitive restaurant market trying to make a go. Open for only 10 months, this chic little spot in the Main Street offered us just the right menu item as "French food fatigue" was starting to reach a peak-a hamburger.

The New St. Emilion burger comes on a toasted French bun (square) with a hearty fried beef burger, cheese , lettuce, tomato and something very close to American bacon with red onion and shallots in a wine sauce with frites (thin fries) for about 16€. Yum!

I like French food as well as anyone but was craving something well, a little less French after a week in France and this hit the spot perfectly. Of course we washed it down with a glass of the local red wine -it is France after all.

“This will be one of the best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

A delightful little eatery on the outer street of the old city.

Not long opened the fare offered is simple. The speciality seems to be the Burgers which were tasty and well served, if a little over cooked and on the small side.

My criticism rests with the very charming cook trying a little too hard. My husband ordered the 'soft eggs' but they were over cooked. My burger was a little tough.

The menu needs a little expansion but I think the charming owners will get there.

We would re-visit and wish them luck.

“Great service, food at a decent price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

We ordered a burger and a salad and they were both fantastic. The waiter spoke English and translated the menu for us. He recommended a glass of red which was excellent. After paying the bill he told us that his family actually make the wine.
