This is the only claimed 5 star hotel in Jalandhar at present, but unfortunately lacks attention to detail to live up to this rating.

Rooms are generally well appointed, door staff and porters are efficient and friendly. Front desk staff are a bit clueless about new security requirements for non-Indian nationals, some restaurant staff lack general etiquette expected of a 5 star property.

Room booked was a double, and there was only one pair of room slippers provided. To make matters worse, these were a dirty, used pair.

Bed linen (pillowcase) had nail polish stains on them, and one would expect a 5 star property to get rid of such affected bed linen rather than continue using them. The pillow had also been set up as such, that it was the first thing I noticed when I glanced at the bed.

AIr conditioning control in room was terrible. Needs a major overhaul. Only appeared to be 2 settings, no air or too warm.

Overall, this is not quite what one would expect from a Radisson hotel, and perhaps this is also a result of a lack of real competition in Jalandhar for higher class hotels. There was no recognition of my frequent guest membership either, and the price paid was overall poor value for the service received.

There is another Carlson property which recently opened up just outside the city, and this would probably be a better choice, all things considering.

This is advertised as the only 5 star hotel in Jalandhar. Yes it is probably the best hotel in jalandhar - but certainly not 5 star.

The rooms are fine nice and clean - but disappointing if you're expecting 5 star.

The best thing about this place was the GREAT KEBAB FACTORY so much so out of 4 nights there i ate there 3 times.
Being vegetarian i thought 'how many different variety of vegetable kebab could there be' I was pleasantly surprised.

Staff were polite and helpful.

I am booked three days & two nights. But I cannot stay first & second day & I am get one day & one night only. Hotel Radisson's services are excellent but they are telling lie before stay at hotel & booked the rooms. Before stay at hotel they are said to us breakfast & tea are free & included with room charges. But they are charged from us Rs.1000/- INR. before checkout the room or hotel.

I am not understand why they are charged from us. I am already paid the charges for stay at hotel, coz I was booked the hotel stay by travel agency www.cleartrip.com.

Thanks alot,
Sanjeev Kumar

The hotel is rated as a 5 Star. It's more like an average 3 Star.
i was in the so called best suite at Rs 10000 a night plus tax. The room was clean enough, but not 5 star standard. I had meal in the chinese restaurant "Noble House" which i could not fault (You should try it). I am lucky enough to had retired last year at 36. So i stay in the best hotels in the world all the time and am spending 9 months a year, every year travelling the world.
i asked for a hotel car expecting a uniformed driver and a quality car but got a part time taxi driver in a old fiesta type car and had to pay Rs 600 for the privilage.
Conceige? "Whats that" the girl behind the counter replied. I asked about local amenities- they did not have a clue, sent me to totally the wrong places and wasted 4 hours.
Breakfast in the morning- the staff just don't no how to seat customers and provide a efficient service. I could carry on and on. it may be the only decent hotel in Jalandhar but it is certainly not of 5 star quality. I am being critical but if they don't know they should be retrained to a higher standard as you would find in a Taj hotel.
