Our family of four was driving from Boston to Niagara Falls and hadn't planned a particular lunch stop. We pulled off the interstate and were glumly choosing between standard chain fare when we spotted Arnold's. Several cars were in the parking lot, usually a good sign! Upon entering we found a modest diner-type place with a tall display of homemade pies in one corner and lots of people eating and talking. Our food was not exotic but tasty, filling and HOT! Everyone was satisfied with their meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's clearly a place where the locals eat and there are a lot of "regulars." The bathrooms could use updating; the ladies room had a bizarre placement of a full length mirror adjacent to the toilet, but was clean. Our only disappointment was finding them closed on our return trip on Sunday. The parking lot isn't paved so it might be messy in bad weather.
