El Gato is very basic, but...
Do you want a few days with peace and quiet without a lot of tourists, this is the right place.
The food is pretty good but nothing extravagant.
They run a generator for a few hours at night to charge batteries for camera.
There is little lighting but please bring your own flashlight.
The staff does not seem to speak English.
Do not expect to see lots of animals but some birds, insects, frogs and maybe a snake if you have a good guide. The name of our guide was Viktor and he was OK.
Then there are always lots of different plants if you are interested in such things.
There was some parts in the program from Mundea that could not be done but when I complained they payed me back what I wanted. No problem.
I think Mundea Tours and Travel are a good and honest company. I do recomend them an wish them luck in the future. The high rating is mostly because of Mundea Tours and Travel.
