The cabanas are amazing, everything is very clean and the people behoud the desk are very nice, helpfull and some speak english. Breakfast is good with toasted Bread, yoghurt and café and tea. The pool is small but nice for refreshment After a hot day!

There isn't a lot to choose from in Talca, to visit the Maule wine region. Considering the choices, Stella is a good choice to stay.

You get your own cabanas with small fridge, hairdryer, and automatic soap dispenser. The bed is relatively comfortable and the surroundings are out of town. The price, at 30,000 CLP per night (for two people) is quite reasonable.

The downsides:
- The room (we stayed in Cabanas 10) was an oven. It heats up very quickly and took until 11pm to cool off. (Consider that this was in the peak of summer in mid-January) They advertised air-conditioning outside the accommodations, but there was no such thing.
- They also advertised "English spoken" but again, this was not the case. While it wasn't a huge obstacle, it shouldn't be advertised as such.
- The shower only had two settings: cold or scalding hot. It was quite the challenge to try and take a shower. You would leave the temperature on hot and it would phase in from cold to hot. Moving the handle over a smidge would also turn the temperature to freezing. We even consulted with staff and were told that was the way it was.

Like other places in Chile, there are no screens on the windows, so beware bugs coming in through open windows. There is a nice pool for cooling off, and breakfast is basic.

Considering the few choices in the area, I would recommend it based on price. In another place with more competition, it wouldn't rate as well.
