“So glad we found this place, perfect in every way”

My family started out in the High Rise area at the Holiday Inn. We'd never been to Aruba before, so we wanted to stay beach front and get a feel for the island for the first couple of days. While I'm glad we did that, it meant having to eat out for each meal and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room since it was quite small and there were 4 of us. After arriving at Swiss Paradise, I wish I'd booked it for our entire trip. It was perfect.

After booking online, I received a welcome email with detailed directions and restaurant recommendations within an hour. When we arrived, we were met by Tina, who treated all of us like long lost friends. She sat down with us and gave us all the information we needed to know to make the most of our trip - info we could have used when we arrived a few days prior (we didn't even get a map upon check in at the Holiday Inn). Her recommendations were spot on, and we probably spent less on food in the remaining eight days than we did our first three when we were in the high rise area.

To say we were shocked by the size of the accommodations is an understatement. It was huge. There were other options available when we booked, but we chose Villa 3 as it had its own kitchen. It was wonderful! Everything you need to make a gourmet meal is in that kitchen. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any rental I've ever had in all of our travels. They really did a marvelous job setting this place up. Usually the one thing we dread on vacation are the beds. But not here, they have these amazing Swiss beds that are fully adjustable. After 4 back surgeries this was such a treat to come home to!

The bathrooms are also stocked with a dispenser in the shower that has soap, shampoo and conditioner. I didn't need to use anything that I brought with me, which was great, because we moved to Curacao after Aruba and that hotel didn't provide anything. We had daily maid service, but if you tip them daily, leave a note so they know to take it. The housekeeping staff is honest and won't take the money you leave them on the counter. They did a wonderful job of taking care of us and keeping everything spotless outside.

Fabulous pool, always warm, and lit up beautifully at night. The area is nice and we always felt safe there. The units are behind a coded gate so no random people coming around. Very close to Arashi Beach, and an easy drive into the high rise area if you want to eat or get ice cream at night. We drove down to Baby Beach twice, it ended up being our favorite. We had one down day when our son got sick and spent it by the pool, and had it all to ourselves the whole day. Each unit faces the pool, but the other guests never feel intrusive like they can at the big hotels. Villa 3 has two areas to eat outside - the one by the pool and the one where the barbecue was. That one didn't get a lot of airflow (it was like a furnace) so we always chose to eat our meals at the table by the pool.

They have a chair/cooler package available for $10 a day. This was great as it meant we just needed to find a tree to enjoy the beach for free and didn't have to rent a palapa with a lounge chair.

Amenities here were superb - Netflix, HBO, excellent wi-fi, fully stocked everything (even a small sweeper broom we were able to use to sweep the sand out of our rental car), a refrigerator with an ice machine, you want it, it's here. I'd been told by reviewers for other hotels on TA to bring coffee filters, as none of the other hotels provide them, but Swiss Paradise had those too. Just fantastic.

I also want to point out that the service here is very personal - upon seeing my very-sunburned son, Tina brought over fresh aloe cuttings that lasted us the whole week.

We can't thank the staff of Swiss Paradise enough for making our first (and hopefully not last) trip to Aruba a very memorable vacation.

This Vila is the absolute BEST!!!

CLEAN, great environment for all sorts of stays. This place has everything you need and the owner was sooo personal with her guest. I would not change anything about this place.

I will and have recommended Swiss Paradise to all that I know.

We LOVED this Villa for our group of 13 (6 adults and 7 children) pon our recent 10 night trip. In addition to the main Villa, we had 3 additional garden suites. The Villa is new, very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The three suites we also rented each had outdoor rain showers which were one of my favorite features. The king sized beds in all of the bedrooms/suites are super comfortable. Each of the bedrooms in the Villa had their own flat screen TVs and separate bathrooms en suite. The children especially enjoyed the loft bedroom which had 2 king-sized beds. In addition to the dining area and full kitchen in the Villa, we also shared a fully loaded outdoor kitchen and dining area with a charcoal grill (another favorite feature of mine). The swimming pool (which we shared with a few other suites) was steps outside each of the bedroom suites. I especially enjoyed late night swims under the clear Aruban sky. Another bonus was the free wi-fi connection, however, you go on vacation to disconnect, right?

We had housekeeping every other day which was provided by two very sweet women who were very thorough. They were also kind enough to help us do our laundry a few days.

Located on the northern end of the island, we all rented vehicles which Tina (the owner) assisted us with. This enabled us to explore Aruba at our leisure, be away from the craziness of the high rise area but yet still go there if we wanted, and to check out several of Aruba's amazing beaches.

Tina, the owner, and Maria, a young woman currently working there, were AMAZINGLY accomodating, patient, gave fantastic recommendations on things to do and places to eat, and were a true pleasure to spend time talking with.

We are already talking about our return trip to Swiss Paradise in Aruba next summer! i HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!
