Blue Village provides a very nice basis for your holiday on Aruba. We (age 30) have just returned from a 2-week stay and had a lovely experience.
- The Appartment -
Our condo was clean, tidy and in good condition. Housekeeping comes every day and provides clean towells. When one of our airconditioning stopped, it was immediately repaired - great service.
- The Bar/Restaurant -
Blue Village has a small bar/restaurant where they provide a nice breakfast meal (included in your stay). The staff of the restaurant is amazing: they are very helpful and really have some cooking skills. Apart from the breakfast they have a small menu with snacks (Western & local) that we used daily to cover the afternoon hunger. Because it's not a big all-in hotel, chef Nando and his wife are even prepared to customize your own dishes. And if you want to avoid the busy bars located in the centre, they also provide happy hour at the bar.
- Overall View -
Lovely experience. If you're looking for something different (instead of the big resorts) this will do perfectly. Definitely worth the money: it's not expensive but you get the service comparable to a grand hotel.
P.S. rent a car: it makes a perfect combination of staying in Blue Village and easy travels to the beach or the rest of the island.More
