In this age of fast food and average restaurants, it is refreshing to find a "gem" for fine dining in an area of Aruba that has lots of expensive restaurants with average at best choices, presentation and taste. Our dinner this Friday was a marvel. From the moment you enter the restaurant you are treated like family. We started of with drinks and the the food began with mingle time In between courses. All were amazing, tasty and well presented. We finished the meal with a "staff meeting" we're we sat, drank with the owners and had one of our best experiences in Aruba. Is it cheap? No. Was it worth every dollar, absolutely! Next time in Aruba we will book at least twice for our week, it was that good. Book early, they only take a max of about 14 people and reconfirm 24 hours in advance or lose your reservation. R&C. Syracuse, NY

We visited this restaurant based on reviews we read on Tripadvisor....food is average, overpriced and the chef is well into his own ego. With food allergies that were abundant amongst our seating, the head Fool was made aware of the foods that were not to be served to specific guests. These requests were documented by email as well as in person yet they were still served by the chef ....the only reason I could think of as to why this occured was due to the fact that the plating process would be marred by a differentiation in presentation. Thinking outside the box was not something that could be accomplished by either one of these Fools. They aspire to be in the same league as Carte Blanche but have missed the mark. As it was my 4th visit to this island, I can honestly say...there are much better places to eat for $225 per couple.

A small group of friends came to Aruba to celebrate a 50th birthday and searched for an unique and memorable venue. And did we find it! Paul & Fred offered one of the most interesting and memorable dining experiences I have ever had. Being welcomed into their home as if we had known them for years was just the beginning. Because we were a group, we had the privilege of having the place exclusively to ourselves. A special menu had been arranged well in advance and did not disappoint. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious and the unique open dining plan only added to the experience. Paul excels as host while Fred looks over the kitchen with meticulous precision. The highlight of the meal was a perfectly prepared beef wellington that was perhaps the best I've ever had. And the wine suggestions were spot on. We are a well traveled group of family and friends and can be rather particular when it comes to food. As others have already said, it is worth the trip to Aruba just to dine here.

If you're looking for a quiet, candlelit place where you can gaze into each other's eyes this is probably not the best choice. If you're seeking a dining experience where you enjoy meeting new people, sampling great food and perhaps making new friends, 2 Fools and a Bull is not to be missed!

We dined at Two Fools for my husbands Birthday. I wanted to surprise him with a different kind of dining while staying in Aruba. We have dined in restuarants all over the world and in many states in the US, and found Two Fools to be a one of a kind experience. We were greeted by Paul and Fred promptly at 7:00 with a glass of champagne. The entire dinner from start to finish was a one of a kind. We travel to Aruba once a year, and plan on making Two Fools a must on our dining list. Just don't try to take their coasters, they count them nightly !! (inside joke)
