Personable service, friendly, great info on Aruba, horses were lively and fresh, well cared for. Thankful to canter and trot as well as walk. The guys did a great job and even on Sunday when they're usually closed. On time picking us up too. Thanks for opening for us!

We did the 2 hour ride through the dunes to the northern beach. The horses were in good condition, and the guide "adjusted" the horses depending on the experience the riders had with horseback riding. An easy, slow horse for my inexperienced boyfriend, a more energetic en younger horse for myself. Halfway through the ride we stopped to (let the horses) rest and drink. When we came back to the ranch, the horses were cooled down with water and could rest for the rest of the day. We were very satisfied en loved the tour.

We had a wonderful trip with your guide. He was just great. Would have liked to had more wilderness but, with the area building up, it was great. Riding in the ocean was awesome. Thanks for a wonderful ride. Joe was great!
No need for a had as stated in their ad. Wasn't needed as we were told the winds were too
strong to wear them. Otherwise it was great.

We were not expecting a ranch with over 25 horses in an island in the Caribbean, much less when we were looking for a mountain bike rental. But we did.
Barbara, who personally picked us up at the hotel, and husband Gerr, expert mountain biker, have this really cool place where you can either take a mountain bike or a horseback riding tour.
The bikes were nice TREKs in really good shape, and the ride was amazing. They took us on mostly (90%) dirt roads and a single track downhill with an exceptional view of the ocean. Thorns, cacti, rocks, check, check, check. Sand... yeah, check that too. Although challenging, it was a really great experience.
For beginners they use the same good bikes but take them through easier paths (we rode a few and they are fun). And they also cater to advanced riders, there are lots of trails and backroads in the island.
The thing is you need to start up early because after 11 it gets really, really hot. If possible bring plenty to drink, you will need it. They will provide a bottle of water but for me us was not enough. Bring money, there are a couple of shacks along the way where you can stop for a drink, as well as in the Rancho at the end of the trip. And if you want to bring your riding shoes and pedals, they will install them for you. They provide the helmets too. Bring shades too!
My partner had a tougher time than me, and she would have liked a little more support from the guides and more information in advance about the roads. For the first half of the trip it almost felt as if the leaders forgot they were providing a service, and instead were riding with a bunch of friends. On the other hand, they gave us a much more interesting and longer trip for the same exact reason. I'm sure Gerr realized that and rode with us the second half of the trip, took good care of us, and shot a bunch of really nice pictures.
I don't think they rent the bikes without the tour ($51, 8am-noon in our case), but it is worth it because they take you places you couldn't reach without a GPS and a lot of expertise.
It was a memorable experience, will repeat.

my daughter and i took a ride over the mountains to the wild coast late in the afternoon. the scenery was gorgeous!. our guide steve was great!, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. we told them we only had time in the afternoon, and they said "we'll make it work". we also mentioned that we would like to take a jeep ride over the moutains to the natural pools and ricardo their concierge said "we will get you a ride", and he did! the prices are very reasonable and the horses are well taken care of and clean.
