“Must go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

Small place but excellent food and service. Very personable. Even my picky 9 yr old loved his chicken and noodles dinner.Dont let the location in a plaza next to an adult store stop you from going. well worth it. Call ahead for reservations.

“A Gourmet Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

While at the beach in Aruba a fellow told me of this restaurant. He said they specialize in fresh fish/seafood. We went that night and what an amazing dinner!! We each had one of the day's fresh catches. I had barracuda and it was one of the nicest tasting fishes I've ever had. Simply grilled and served with rice, plantains and fresh veggies. My wife had the snapper and she loved hers as well. I started with Aruban fish soup. Incredible! My wife had creamed fish chowder. Even though it's located next to a SEX SHOP!!! This is a must do when in Aruba!

“Surprisingly, one of the best!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

Wacky Wahoo's was one of the best meals that we had during our whole vacation in Aruba. Don't let the location fool you - it's in a mini-strip mall. The food is fantastic! The service was superb! You've got to try the fish baked in parchment paper. You get the choice of a long list of fresh caught fish steamed with wine, herbs and vegetables in the parchment paper. It was delicious and the serving sizes were on the big size. The restaurant is not that big, so make sure to get a reservation for dinner. Wacky Wahoo's is highly recommended!

“Best Meal on the Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

We had the best meal on the island. I'm local to Aruba and when people ask where to get the best local food I always send them to Wacky Wahoo's. The seafood is really fresh!

Only bad things... the place is really small. Not a great ambiance. You have to have reservations and well in advance.

Funny that's its right next door to a sex shop. But it's a great place.

“Not worth the trouble...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

Our concierge had to call several times a day for several days to make a reservation. The restaurant is cramped; the back of my husband's chair was practically touching someone at the next table. ambience is lacking. As for the food, the crab and corn chowder was OK, but the crab still had the shell on. My ceviche was very good. We both had grouper-centric mains that tasty but pricy. I would not go back.
