“Tired but convenient”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

The Dead Sea is a great place to experience. Sadly though most the hotels are pretty run down and tired. Isrotel is no exception! However it has one of the better Spa's and private beachs in the area. The staff were all polite but go through the motions simply doing a job, most don't realise hospitality means warmth, friendliness and a can do approach.

We spent a long weekend with friends in this hotel. We were not disappointed at all. All rooms face East, to the splendid view over the Dead Sea. The sunrise from behind the mounts of Moab is fantastic, and the Golden Hours before Sunset nail you to your room's balcony. When you succeed to leave your room, you continue to be satisfied from the multiple amenities, the beach, the bar, the two dining rooms, the Spa (the masseurs may be a bit too tough) and of course, the pool. The room service was very rapid, the check in and check out were perfect. We even received a nice thank you message on our cellphones half an hour after departure.
We definitely intend to return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors, and do not expect the minibar to keep your icecream cold overnight.

We have been to this hotel several times and I have a feeling that the hotel has deteriorated since our last visit. The rooms need a serious refreshing the furniture is old carpets are worn down, the shower was leaking...
The food in all restaurants is not what it used to be not in variety and not in taste. During one of the dinners the chicken had a foul smell, we pointed it out to the head steward who took the plate away never to be seen or heard again.
There is not too much to do in the evening but the hotel entertainment hasn't changed in 4 years the same band and same songs....,
We love this hotel as it is serene and peacful but this time the experience could have been better

Stayed one night, room had a great view over the Dead Sea; room was very clean. On finding that the spa robes were not in the room the staff delivered them within minutes. The public areas are expansive with a nice piano bar. The pools containing dead sea water were great fun. Breakfast and dinner buffets were the best we experienced on our tour. A short walk takes you to the shore of the Dead Sea.

Isrotel Dead Sea Resort is a first rate hotel for many reasons. Its location is facing the astonishingly beautiful Dead Sea and the mountains of Jordan. The rooms are clean with each having a balcony with a spectacular view. For a truly unique get-away, reserve one of their suites. It is the best hotel room ever.
There are several pools to choose from including fresh water and Dead Sea spa.
The food and service is excellent.
Even though the prices might be high, you would not be disappointed with a stay at Isrotel Dead Sea Hotel.

Room Tip: Reserve a suite with a Dead Sea view. Unforgetable

My husband and I with two friends went to this delightful hotel set like an oasis by the Dead Sea. We travelled along a breath takingly beautiful road by the side of the Dead Sea , but allow plenty of time the road is narrow with no overtaking. We had booked executive rooms which gave us access to a lounge serving rather mediocre food. The pool area was lovely plenty of loungers . We also had access to an upgraded breakfast room with waitress service. We are twice in the hotel and would warmly recommend the ranch house for hot and freshly cooked food. One area of complaint is the lack of affordable Internet and wi fi connection . The bedroom was spacious with plenty of hanging and storage space the bathroom a little tired. The weather was lovely and we all felt rested and relaxed. Would definitely return

Room Tip: Ask for executive room on floors 7-9 the views are lovely .

Generally israelian hotels are the worse I have ever seen, but this is totally awful. Service is a word they never heard of. We stayed in what was supposed to the best suite, it looked like a shack, dirty, old, with the flushing pipe decorating our bathroom, mould in the shower and on the jacuzzi. One more thing check your bill, we booked around 10 rooms (we were traveling with our families) each bill included dinners or lunch we never made, plus they charged our credit card in US dollars instead of Israeli shekels. Still waiting for an apology. Go there just if you wish to be robbed and to have the worse service ever.
